If you have the right game controller, then you can assign one of those buttons to an action in the browser. I'm not sure Tenboro ever intended us to play this game with a joystick like the [images.google.com] Microsoft SideWinder Pro but it would be cool if it worked. Interestingly, along that same line of thinking, those that can't use a mouse easily due to disabilities sometimes have a kind of joystick that behaves like a keyboard/mouse for common tasks. Come to think of it, this game could be played by a blind person, as well, using screen scrapers. It would work a lot better if you set your character configuration to use local fonts instead of images, of course. OCR is unreliable and slow and hard coding for the image URL is just silly if you can use normal text. This is also why Flash is evil.


Or he could just stick another quickcast bar under the existing one which would probably take him all of two seconds.


Btw, my poor old laptop and my brain groaned when I read all of that.

Seen some talk about Haste spell and Haste scroll. Yes, they stack, they stack for as long as I remember. It just that there's a cap on the action speed, so it make no sense to use both of them together.


I still wonder about Shadow veil, though. Are the spell version and scroll version stack? It probably be since that how Haste works and they're the same type of spell. But if so, how they work? Just add the number of bonuses gained of the two together (like Haste) or calculated in multiplicative fashion? I guess it probably the latter...

Interesting stuff. Nice to see that my critters are getting some action.

Be interesting to see if the increased mana regen makes up for the removed health regen... Does seem like that may be a hit against anyone with high-interference though.


So we need 10 crystals to increase elemental resist, and 50 to increase the stats. Did I miss anything that uses less than 10? Because if that is the case I would like to suggest that the numbers required AND the crystal drop rate be cut by 10. People would still get the same number of upgrades, and that would cut down on the crystals edging out other loot...

Notes for Tenboro

-I've noticed that VIB procs, unlike regular procs and splash damage triggers, are not forced to occur when crits are landed, is this how you intended it?

-VIB procs don't feel worth while having in battle. Take my Fine Axe of the Illithid for instance, despite it's 24% chance, it once went up to ten turns without tapping into enemy MP. And when it does tap, it feels like too little two late. Cranking up the chance and cranking down the amount tapped (or vice-versa) may make VIB weapons feel more worthwhile.

-Another way to make VIB worth while is unfixing the amount drained. I have no idea how to explain the mathematics I have in mind for that. Something about relative percentiles... Why does MP always have to be so much lower than HP in RPGs...

-Illithid and Banshee weapons should do also collateral damage to a mob's Magic and Spirit points with tapped. It seems weird tapping into a mob's MP and still see it go up the next turn.

-Is there any chance for VIB armor? That goes off when striking or being struck, most likely the former because the latter would lead to balancing issues and hair brained strategies.

-I've got a Power armor for my body slot and noticed that instead of being called "cuirass" or "breastplate", it was just called "armor". Since cuirass and breastplate seem inappropriate and since armor is just ambitious, I would like to propose "carapace" for the name of the Power Armor body slot.

-Are more equipment class suffixes coming down the pipe? We get Shield and Power classes for heavy armor, is there anything in store for chain, light and cloth armor?

-Will crystals be exclusive to mob upgrades? Or down the road will they be used to upgrade equips as well?
