Everyone Loves Eila <-- waiting for this monster name to appear soon

...but in the meantime, it is destiny that there will be a never-ending parade of new Eila monsters. For example, I just ran into level 76 (power level 70) Eila Ilmatar 10tilainen (MID 35949). It seemed cruel to kill her, so I attacked the other monster instead since Eila was about to die. Did Eila bring back a gift to its master from its victory? Or is it stupid to "reward" a player for using amusing monster names by deliberately dying to that monster a few times in order to enhance its chances of bringing gifts back?

(learning a little bit about posting here)

I guess this one goes aginst the extended rules linked in the first post. I awaited for her(it?) to use the skill and see if was really from Lyrical Nanoha or just same name (my anime-fu is a little lacking lately). Also, beast class for a character that's obviously a humanoid... or daimon (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I'm not really sure why this is important but MID=20900

i once saw a monster named OLD CHINESE LADY , she uses some skill that crit me around 2.4k , i was playing on iwtbth , i also encountered many other monsters with fancy names just theres too many to remember lol (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think custom monsters should show their class when spawning.
That is "Dodobird the Elemental has spawned" or "Robotguy the Pixie has spawned"

1. This makes sense from RP perspective, that is, our toon can tell the difference between an undead and a dragon at a glance without need to scan them. (sure makes more sense then telling their name and level at a glance)
2. It does not give as much info as scanning (did they select piercing or crushing damage? did they mitigate their vulnerability with crystals? etc).
3. It eliminates the issue of misleading names.

People could still use bad names of other kinds, but no more misleading names.
Also currently its really annoying fighting custom monsters because you have no clue what type they are, you can identify firefox and go "hey, that thing is weak to ice", but remember that "dragons are weak to ice and strong to fire" doesn't help you at all since the only way to know something is a dragon is to scan it, in which case you are outright given its weaknesses/resistances.
