Can we just get an option to TURN OFF monster lab creatures? I just had to face down 4 monsters and a boss, I'm a shield and pierce. The 2 monster lab monsters each took longer to kill than the boss, and did more damage. I'm only level 33, this is too stifling.

If that was the case then everyone would have turned them off and instant kill monsters with magic again

No, there will never be an option to turn off monsters. For most people, that will simply boil down to "do I level faster without them or not?".

People have more fun when they level up though. And the later monsters are balanced to the player anyway aren't they? I mean, all this is really doing it taking a boring text based game and tossing in a bunch of chaos without adding a reward for overcoming that chaos.

I don't really see what's wrong with that. People worked hard to get the ability to do that, and now its been taken away.


Though, I will admit that most of the problem is PROBABLY that the monster lab isn't complete yet. I mean, if you can change your own monster's stats so that killing it has a higher item drop rate, or gives you more exp and/or credits, that'd probably quell most people complaints. But at the moment all its really doing is making people rage-quit with frustration.

The player created monsters drop better and more loots. Including more of the rare stuff like artifacts.

Fought my own monster for the first time today. Something that, in my opinion, should not be possible. Once the system is fully online and we'll be able to make them stronger (I for one have around 200 crystals at the time), I won't exactly see the appeal of making my monster the strongest just so it can rape me in the ass later. Being able to meet your own monsters should definitely be made impossible or at least toggleable.

I think you'll probably be at an advantage fighting your own monster. At least you'll know what its weaknesses are. Anyway, what makes you think it'll be stronger than the other ones? Some players are accumulating a lot of crystals...

Also, we don't know how the monster level thing will work yet. If you make it super strong, a player of your level might not be able to encounter it. Why not wait and see?

Actually, we do know how that part works, Tenboro said that as the monster is improved it will gain levels and people whose level is below the monsters will not encounter them. Now I don't know yet at what rate it will gain levels, but if you're fairly low level you could probably get your own monsters above you level pretty easily if you wanted to.
