Why are people talking about re-classing? You can make the point that dumb names and misspellings can annoy other players, but you don't see the monster's class even with scan.
Most of the fun of having a monster will be having it kill other players and having a misleading name will help with that. Example: a fire elemental named Zombie will cause players to use fire to which it will be impervious, resulting in LOLs.
I think certain people here are getting drunk on their perceived power...

Again, I rather like an UNDEAD Rick Astley. It's sort of true you know, seeing how this monster got revived as a meme, years later.

I'm not talking about a character from some book that gets only released in the place you live or something, but something that is widely known across the world other than book/anime characters might be nice too, although this is just my opinion.

Well, it was a wartime recruitement organisation not anything you could fight in single combat. Also I'd think the open list in Tenboro's post: 'mythology or characters/races/etc in anime, manga, games, movies, books, etc etc - something that people will recognize' pretty much points in a specific direction.
It's not even english so for almost everyone it will be incomprehensible. The few germans around here may even be offended by it.

Don't you think having the trainer listed could cause more trouble? Members who don't like other members may find every justification they can to eliminate their monsters.

That should only be a problem if no one else knows member A doesn't like member B. Otherwise, it's going to be rather obvious. Also, we need it in order to prevent people reporting monsters with the same names as their creators... though frankly, if your username's a meaningless string of characters you should probably think twice before using it...
