Ok, ok, I just did To Kill A God and Crusade (on hard) and didn't gain even 0.01 of elemental proficiency. I used only elemental spells (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) That's a first.
Also couldn't trigger Channeling in IW.

You can make legendary class monsters from them?

I casted over 300 times weaken in an arena and not a single point of depreciating proficiency, so i don't think you can get any magic proficiencies (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Glad to see I'm not the only one noticing this. Are we sure it's not that the proficiency gains in battle are silent now? I hadn't paid that much attention to my exact proficiency levels before/after battle...

It seems Coalesced works only on target mob (for aoe spells), so if you kill it, you will not get ET.
Also I assume, if you kill on ether theft you will not get Channeling or procs is way off from true.

Just did 291 rounds on Grindfest(hard), used only Banish and again didn't gain even 0.01 of Divine proficiency. It's getting annoying.

It's the magic (and possibly weapon) profs that aren't gaining points.

Those crystals are simply jamming my looting RNDgen.
Getting a bunch of potions are okay, since I can surely use them well;
But the crystals are cheap, having no other purpose than the monster lab thing, which means little to low level players like me.

In short, I hate crystals as frequent loot.

magic is utterly broken now
no coalesced mana on untargeted
no prof increase

plus:
50% of every damn drop is a crystal
artifacts now give shitty things worth of few credits

and: what will become hv when everyone will have buffed their monsters?

Alright, seems like the thing that tells the battle system that it's ok to go nuts with proficiency gains was triggering after the thing that checked for proficiency gains for casting spells. Whops.

Seriously though, you might have noticed that monsters have a "level". They don't actually level up by fighting, but the level will be an indicator of how powerful they are - and monsters will be limited to spawning for players at or above their level.

Even if they have some worth getting 100 of them : 2 C * 100 vs. 1 AP(priceless!!!) vs 2-4 hath(*3,5-4 k C) or vs x number of rare consumables (at least it's more valuable option than crystals) looks miserably. It needs some balancing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif). Also crystals drop too often, so it's non-explicit nerfing Scavenger as we get less potions and other stuff. Crystals can drop, but as extra stuff not instead of potions as their usability is questionable and for pure entertainment only.
