The O, 0, Backspace and =/+ key on my laptop malfunctioned. Now I have to do my work using Windows' On-Screen Keyboard. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Got my new comp back. I just need to install the OS, anti-virus, drivers and graphics card. I'm sure I'll make a balls of something though.

What the hell is going on! This morning my computer went off on its own, no warning or reason what-so-ever, and at the same time the entire block had the same exact problem. After messing with my laptop I got it working and still have all my data, unfortunately some of the people on my block didn't have the same luck, one person's computer went off and never started again (upon opening it, we found the mother board fried). Another persons computer had all the data wiped, the OS included, my next-door-neighbors computer started randomly BSOD'ing after we got it started up.
It wasn't only that, seems that anyone with sat-dish TV couldn't get them functioning properly (after messing with the equipment, or waiting an hour, we got them up and running). This has been quite the strange morning, hopefully this doesn't happen again, but for now I'm blaming it all on Obama, cuz that's what all the cool kidz are doing.

Man, FF13 really starts eating up memory and spikes the CPU much sooner than my old 3.6 install.

It's not really mine. The laptop was provided by the company where I work and currently there's no extra laptop if the laptop is sent for repair.

You think they monitor your every move and wait for you to pay for the new one if they have any evidence you broke anything more? Or do you just prefer typing on faulty keys? I'd expect they'd like an employee with initiative to fix things...

Computer up and running just fine. Until I installed Avast! Now I'm getting a blue screen everytime I get to my desktop. Anyone know what this might be?
edit: I deleted Avast! and installed AVG. Seems to be okay for now. Fuck, that was frightening.

QUOTE(derpymal @ Jun 26 2012, 01:45) As tech savvy as I am, I don't think I would ever risk installing a second OS to dual-boot on an active computer. The possibility of shit hitting fans and my primary OS getting borked to hell would more or less give me a panic attack.
That's what VirtualBox prevents.

Just got a Droid X2. Just learned that Moto won't push ICS onto X2s for some ridiculous reason. Really contemplating rooting the motherfucker, hesitant due to doubt.

Can usb 2.0 push enough data for a 1280 x 1024 monitor going at 60hz, without eating all my cpu time?

My HDTV (which my PC is connected to) randomly cuts out twice, every now and then. Any idea what might be causing this?

I cleared up a lot of space on my system drive this weekend. Which is a pretty okay thing.
