Innernet's been being slow the last few days, so I finally bit the bullet and updated my FF from 3.6 to 13.whatever. Why the fuck did that make it fast again?
At least Gmail's gonna stop whining about an "outdated" browser.

I got BSOD (something about FSN being corrupted) during start up a few times. The last time was 2 weeks ago. Ahh, the joy of Beta testing.

Ate my boot options, so I need to finagle a way to get back into Vista without sobbing uncontrollably.

As tech savvy as I am, I don't think I would ever risk installing a second OS to dual-boot on an active computer. The possibility of shit hitting fans and my primary OS getting borked to hell would more or less give me a panic attack.

I can't remeber the last time I partitioned a disk for a single OS.

Yeah, I keep recovery disks and backup images, its just such a gigantic pain in the ass to update backups and do restores.

Windows 8's version of IE is fucking weird and cumbersome. Also, the weather app is jacked up and doesn't work properly.
ADDENDUM: Also, the calendar app keeps crashing.
ADDENDUM 2: A few things I figured out about the browser interface makes it a little less wiggy, but I don't know why Microsoft thinks everyone hates having a readily available, easy to use URL bar.

Whoever invented weather apps should be nailed to a cross and left to die. One of the most useless things ever.

IE being fucking weird and cumbersome? More likely than you think!

More the UI being really twitchy and the URL bar being incredibly bashful rather than the typical, and expected, cludgy behavior.

Damn. Somehow conversion error again. What, MP4 is incompatible with AC3 audio!? Looks like I have to convert the audio to AAC instead. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

A smaller, but higher resolution is screen is better than a large blurry one.
