The only Apple product I own is the Tablet.

Not racism, just truth and strongly worded statements. If I were racist, I would have said how much I wish their destruction/death BECAUSE they are azn; but I just stated that I hate them because of their bullshit.
I might further add that I hate everyone equally (whites, blacks, reds, yellows, mexicans, africans, azns, Europeans, Antarcticans, Republicans, Democrats, socialists, etc.), so there is no way I can possibly be racist.

I hate how slow supposedly "high-speed Internet" is.

After setting my image viewer to use the Adobe RGB 1998 ICC profile, the skin color of people (both real and cartoon) in the displayed images looks more natural. The RGB 1966 2.1 profile provides vivid colors, but also makes the skin color a little too "orange".

If you have a 24 port hardware RAID card that retails over $1000 USD, you'd figure that a: you already had the drives or b: price was no longer a concern, especially if you're actually going to fill up said card. But that's just me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Haha, yeah. I got the card for ~400 USD from a friend that was upgrading to an ARC-1880ix-24. Unfortunately, 4TB drives have limited ability and I'm waiting for them to drop down to around ~200 USD each.

Thought of the moment: should I port my old mobile number to Google Voice, or directly to my new carrier? Hmm...

For ADSL connections, you need to be as close as possible to the DSLAM for optimal speed. I'm roughly 3km/2mi away from the nearest one and get 20-30% efficiency because of this. Maximum efficiency would be 55% anyway because of 802.11b shit.

Get rid of connection limiters whenever possible regardless of your connection type. Upgrade your hardware, remove malware, use a wired connection instead of wireless crap, don't use wire extensions and check for possible ISP throttling. My speed once went down 75% just because one of those crazy line bots capped my junk at a much slower speed to "make it more stable" - more like save bandwidth.

Gave the ISP tech support a call. I somehow got extremely lucky on that day and a skilled tech instantly understood what I was talking about and uncapped my line.

Last thing I thought...
I only got one signal loss today so far. I usually get more than ten a day because of the overwhelming interference from all the fuckers using newer stuff in my flat. Changing channels doesn't help at all.

I hate that I get excited for every new Windows OS that is released. Mostly because they're holy-what-the-fuck expensive.

But I love operating systems in general, and I am extremely interested in how they work, and I'd like to make one of my own, but I don't think that will ever happen.

I've always wanted to do that myself. Looks like it takes quite huge amount of time and work. Have you had the chance to test out Windows 8? Some people already didn't like it because of the missing start menu, but stardock has a solution to that apparently.

Does anyone have any capture devices like hauppage, dazzle, or easycap?

Need to find some spare time to take apart my ipod and fix the jack.

I hate my Alarm Clock's bullshit. It keeps inexplicably/ randomly losing power, forcing me to reset the time.

I haven't had any serious problems with their drivers. Not yet anyway. Sure, the JRE Control Panel's incompatibility with AMD's AA Settings caused Windows Explorer to crash, Crysis 2 crashed when I used custom 3D settings and the GPU clock speed spiked erratically in 2D Desktop mode (so far these problems only occurred in drivers prior to v12.4). At least there's no BSOD. As well as no "Overdrive page missing" error as reported by many users, no hardware-accelerated video corruptions and no random game crashes.
