If yours only works in 3 button mode maybe the MODE switch is stuck on? None of the games I play actually use the X Y and Z buttons.

Most of the games I play don't use the X Y Z either.

Street fighter 2? I have the arcade though.

Half a year and my pads are already starting to flake. I'm dreading the day I need to spend another hour to fit a new pair of oval pads on and it's probably sometime next week or next month.

fake leather really gives me the shits, especially when its on expensive headphones and just self destructs at some stage.

Those pads were the BrainWavz ones people recommend all the time but truth be told, it's not that much better than the cheap Chinese pads I get 2 pairs for 3 bucks. With my high usage and frequent need for replacement, I guess I'm going back to the cheap stuff.

They want to charge $400 USD to keep getting updates for windows 10 for three years.

Win10 LTSC IoT which you should probably be using anyway is supported until 2032.
Then again who cares about "getting updates" when the first thing to do after installing Windows 10 is to disable updates.

Yeah, took me quite a while to connect the dots. I honestly thought it was just a slow week. I think everything's dead atm. Supposedly they have a problem with not having enough server storage? And maybe an eta of early May.

Good thing I managed to grab some Patreon videos before the importer died.

Water cooling looks neat but I have always been scared to use it. A firm believer in air coolers and no OC.

I only do performance based builds. I find the builds done for looks have maintenance and longevity issues.

High performance air cooling beats most entry level water cooling solutions.

Colored coolant with clear tubes needs a lot of maintenance and that leads to common problems when people do not change the liquids every six months and clean the system every few years. Low maintenance tubing and long last clear liquids can last two years and 10 years between cleaning.

I also stick to air cooling exclusively. Waiting for the new noctua cooler thats been delayed for the past 3 or so years right now.

Hasn't Noctua's reputation gone downhill a bit in the past few years? IIRC there are a lot more affordable options with the same level of performance as top Noctua fans. I grabbed AK620 a few years ago and it was half the price of NH-D15.

The reputation for value for money is poor... Noctua products charge a huge premium for a potentially small performance / quality advantage over competitors.

Should you buy $10 fans that will last 5 years or $40 dollar fans that will last 10-20 years?

I'm a big fan of the Arctic P series fans. You get about 90% of Noctuas performance for a fraction of the price, especially if you get the 5 packs.

Love those packs, though I did the maths wrong and have a few spare I can't fit into my case now. I like the clean look as well.

Yeah bought a lot of arctic, be quiet and cooler master (for other people's builds).

Don't think their quality or support went downhill, their fans have a hard to stomach price, but the bearings are high quality and the sound profile is the best, while also being at the top performers. I also appreciate the accessories they include, the omnijoin adapters that came with their 40mm fan was godsent when i replaced the fan in a flex atx psu.

I have F8's in my desktop; one of my two "CO" ball bearing fans of theirs has lasted twelve years of near constant use so far; the other died two years ago and I got a five pack of the non-CO type. So far that one's working just fine and i have three extras. I have one mounted permanently on top of my wireless router to keep it cool.
I peeled the stickers off of mine and they look better that way.

Edit: Looks like maybe they don't offer them in white anymore? That's a shame.

Anyway, they're pretty quiet.
