Cropping, re-encoding and uploading an HD video to YouTube is about as fun as a rectal exam.

Spent half a hour trying to mount a cue file, then I noticed it was a cue for a TTA file and played it in Winamp with a true audio plugin.

Love, me That's basically what I first thought when I booted my former iBad and looked at the default browser. This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: May 16 2012, 14:08

According to the May 2012 issue of CHIP Malaysia's review of ASUS ROG Maximus V Gene: QUOTE In the display aspect, users get to choose DVI-D, HDMI, Display Port. ASUS has done away with VGA and are looking to the future with these three connectivity options. I think someone from ASUS had actually read my email suggesting that they should phase out VGA from their products ASAP, in favor of Display Port. Yes, I can change the world by writing! Today: motherboards. Next: PC monitors.

A good thing to have. I have experience with QNAP ones, and they're quite stable now, with embedded Linux which you never have to look at but can, HTTP interface/configuration, and lots of apps.

QUOTE(kingwolf @ May 17 2012, 08:57) What the hell is .net framework and why does it suck? (IMG:[ i2.lulzimg.com] http://i2.lulzimg.com/9026d6cfc0.png) Microsoft .NET Framework spawns tons of services and is the bane of Windows Update. I stopped all of them. Also, why the fuck would I need optimization for a system architecture that isn't mine ? This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: May 18 2012, 10:12

Not if the button actually marks the drive as dubious and forwards the data to the local authorities.
Might include false positives if you count people with formatting OCD, though, so I don't know.

Useless for the general market. For certain areas of the private sector where security is FUCKING IMPORTANT, they make sense. Then again, the most critical of those "businesses" probably already had solutions not available to your average schmuck on hand.

Wow! The Tablet I ordered finally got shipped. And I received it this after noon. Sigh... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I was really expecting the computer tower to arrive. Oh well, can't have everything... I will distract myself by lurking around the forum and downloading some IOS. (Maybe Angry Birds)

"The shortcut cannot contain Chinese characters"
There goes the usefulness for shortcuts. Philistine and racist OS.
EDIT : And changing the OS language to Japanese won't let me do that either except it says kanji instead, which is a better way to put it. Well, whatever.

Chrome now wants userscripts to be UTF8 encoded. Except it can't read them correctly when they're UTF8 encoded and starts derping out. Brilliant.
