A phone with none-standard audio port is even worse. Either spend more for an adapter or the crap quality earphone from the phone manufacturer.

Yeah, my brother's phone is a more "advanced" model of the same phone, and the headphones and battery charger share the same port.I mean, that's a dirty trick from the producer to make customers buy more of their hardware.

Urgh, this is such a piece of junk. I'd make more money dismantling it and selling its RAM and hard drives rather than selling it as a whole.

If your computer is overheating :
- get rid of unwanted applications at startup that use up a lot of resources (msconfig on Windows) ;
- get a bigger rig to increase the overall surface and improve the cooling ;
- disable all idle and scheduled tasks (including but not limited to the ones forced upon you by crappy AV software) ;
- try not to play games that are too high on resources, especially 3D ones (this is mostly a concern for your VC here, but it will have an impact on your CPU temperature as well) ;
- don't let it run overnight.

Don't Google for this. People are stupid and come up with complex and dangerous stuff. Two commands in a batch file and you are done.

I wonder what's better (file corruption) when saving files (movies) on HDD:

-Keeping them divided in .rar parts
-Keeping them as an .avi, .wmv or whatever

I'd go with the second option. You can fix the file using most viewers, but it obviously won't revive the corrupted data.

How slow is the 512kbps internet bandwidth? Downloading 1GB file requires between 5-6 hours to finish. That's how slow it is.

I know bro, I know, but it's getting more and more warmer every day.
I don't have my comp on overnight because I can't sleep even if there is little sound. I got CM Stacker case which is probably one of the biggest cases on the market, its discontinued now though and the new versions of it are really expensive.
And I'm kind of perfectionist when it comes to computers, it pisses me off if there is stuff I don't need running on, I have disabled lots of services from Windows and set it up so theres nothing unnecessary running. The problem is that lately days get warmer than in winter and the stock cooler in my CPU fan gets really loud when it starts spinning at 70%+ rpm, so it's not really a problem of overheating just the sound. I wish this case had those silent paddings like some of the new cases do, Fractal Design Define R3 and Antec P280 etc. would be pretty neat. And my GPU isn't really the newest one either so it's pretty loud too when it starts going, GTX 285, well atleast its good enough that everything runs on it. Maybe one day I'll get some after-market coolers and make it silent rig.

Dunno, besides the moisture effect it looks just as good as a portable fan.

Personally, when I have heat issues I use a refrigerating bag.Just like those you use for first aid, but bigger.

I suspect spraying cold water into your computer won't help you much to prevent your computer from getting fried.
But if you can't use a proper air conditioning system, perhaps the device may make the heat more bearable for yourself.

I'd suggest using a fridge kept open as a cheap alternative, but you might just end up catching a cold instead.
