I got a bigger screen at some point, but even now, to read a manga as images files from my bed (let's say around 2 meters away from screen), it still seems too small.
I wonder what would be the ideal size for that.

You could use a keyboard and magnifier app to be able to read the text from further away.

I can't remember who I lent my Wii to four years ago.

I got a free wii from someone last year; might not be hard to replace. They're nearly worthless right now.

I think 27" is still too little (as it is what I have), especially since what I'm reading right now doesn't even have the smallest fonts you can find in a manga.
Note that I do understand that whatever the answer would be, it would be a luxury, it's not about a "minimum requirement for average use" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

27" widescreen is different than a 27" diagonal square (the square is smaller).

The world is a scary place. I called up the auto dealership with a landline telephone (not smartphone) to schedule an appointment. I didn't use the internet, cellular, smartphone, or my computer.

Minutes after I hung up, I went to google maps to look at the area around the dealership. Google maps is displaying a message that I Have An Appointment Scheduled Tomorrow at 8:40AM with this Auto Dealership. This was all automatic, I didn't subscribe to any feature or enter any data on my own.

Just bought a Texas Instruments TravelMate 4000E laptop. 40Mhz Intel 486 cpu, color screen. I know it has MS-DOS or IBM PC-DOS 5.0-7.0, some variant of Windows 3.1, and 4.0-20.0MB of RAM, but not exactly what this one has. I'm gonna put a new CMOS battery and small SSD in, and slip in more software during the SSD migration. I think the battery is just D cell NiCd, and easily rebuildable.

The CF-18 got an drive based on an M.2 but I think I'll got with compact flash this time- bothe to allow easier swapping, and for a smaller size that won't confuse DOS and/or the BIOS.

Should be able to transfer over serial and zmodem afterwards. Amazon has USB to serial cables pinned out as null modem. I also plan on trying to add more RAM if it's only 4MB.

Nice; that'd be fun. Just make sure you don't thrash the CF card too badly; maybe a Sandisk brand one would be okay but i've had them die on me in my ipod running rockbox (note that mine was a cheap(er) offbrand so I probably deserved what I got. CF cards are expensive these days).

I have a Tandy 1400LT (NEC V20 CPU) I can't really do anything with. It's likely just going to end up being a RAM donor for another machine (it uses the same chips as my Amiga 500), and maybe I'll use the V20 CPU in some other PC clone if I ever get another of its age (they perform better than the Intel 8088 did). That one uses six D-cell NiCads for sure.

My next-oldest PC/PC clone machine is pentium-era… I'd love to have a '486. My pentium has 40MB RAM and it doesn't use d-cells.

I just plan on using it for DOS software of the era. The software I want right now has a revision date in early '93. I ordered a dual CF to IDE adapter, and two cisco oem (so entetprise stuff) 512MB cards. I can keep the OS and programs on one, and codeplugs (saved radio programs) on the other.
It's the correct architecture and speed- much of the programs won't run on pentium, and have timing loops hardcoded into their halfass serial driver- so will loose their mind above a certain clockrate. Buffering on the serial port will also break it- the single byte reply from the radio never triggers an interupt and never gets read- so the link times out.
This is why it's been so hard to emulate- it really needs bare metal and exclusive control of the serial port.

Usually, it's fine, but sometimes in Deluxe Paint I really miss having layers or a lasso tool.

Edit: looking a little better now but still the wrong pixel aspect ratio when not on my CRT (and not using the right colors for the "half-bright" mode; probably because the Amiga uses 12-bit RGB vs. 24-bit on this machine and the color intensities are probably being divided differently).

I found and tried to use a service that receive sms online to get back the control of my Google account, but it just fail saying "wait a few hour, too many attempts".
It has been weeks if not months since I last tried, and I receive a code by mail before the SMS part, so there should not be anyone else that can get to that point in the login process.

do I trust Geforce experience optimal settings? I have I7-7700K, gtx 1080ti & 16Gb ram. I just bought Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and the optimal settings was the lowest in every department. I run at 3840x2160 resolution as my pc is hooked to my tv...

I don't, but if you can root it yes you can. Without root, no guarantees.
I have a Pixel 2 for the moment. I use the ADW launcher still (from CyanogenMod 7.2 or so; around 2011).
