Maybe I could just put the SSD right on top of the HDD after connecting the cables, instead figuring out whether computer stores have 3.5" to 2.5" brackets for sale?

Unlike MP3, there's no way to edit AAC's metadata directly in Windows Explorer (Right-click file > Properties > Details tab). Suggestions?

If I actually had any Idea of what I'd have to do for it, I would totally get a linux OS just to make a little personalized interface with a cute little haro that reports me all kinds of necessities and always tells me when anomalies are being found....
GOSH, I need a good laptop and friends that know how to linux... I'm so sick of windows and even more sick of my incapability with computers...

I'd say, give ubuntu a try using wubi to install it through windows. It's so easy even my grandma could do it. And ubuntu is very user friendly these days, IMO.

what is a WOOBIE? I'd rather have mint, and yes, I was playing with the thought of installing a second OS or quite a while, but in the end, it isn't my computer....

Convert all m FLAC files to 500kbps AAC, or 320kbps AAC, or WMA, or not convert at all?

It will be in the next 6-12 months. Not planning to buy a 1TB HDD anytime soon.

HDD prices still haven't fully recovered from the flooding in Thailand. I feel bad for the people of Thailand, but c'mon, get your shit together. I want to buy a new hard drive soon.
