QUOTE(Azure_R @ Jun 15 2017, 15:23) can anyone tell me the accurate functional relationship between a processer's power consumption and its frequency? There's no direct functional relationship, there's statistical relationship that can be made by performing exhaustive tests under stress. A modern CPU has several "idle" states in which it consumes less energy, and several ASM instructions which dump the CPU into one or the other of these states. This happens because different states use different amounts of energy but also because the most economic ones take longer to wake up on an interrupt. A kernel is expected to educately guess how long the CPU is likely to be idle and select a low energy state accordingly.

I lurked around webhostingtalk and they are definitely very hostile towards copyright infringement.
Does anyone know of any forum for web hosting with a more liberal community?

Twiter is as dumb as Fb. Nobody asks for the video autoplay feature, let alone set is as the default in the settings.

Looking at the source code of the most popular Chrome/ium extensions is disheartening The really popular ones and those made by Google and other big companies tend to have a decent codebase, but a lot of the rest is just heaps of broken spaghetti frankencode

Fucking PlayStation Network banned my IP address during the last maintenance.
Luckily I could fix it by resetting my router.

Foolish Kapersky. There can only be either free AV, or no AV at all. Stick to Enterprises, and leave the consumer market alone.

Don't know if placebo or real, but cleaning my headphone port works wonders.
Edit: Oh and as for my previous questions on shady webmaster sites, I think Wjunction is pretty good. They frequency discuss about hosting porn and pirated stuff there.

There seems to be some kind of fatal flaw with Hyperthreading in Series 6 and 7 Intel chips (Sky Lake and Kaby Lake) that could cause errors and loss of data. Hyperthreading is recommended to be disabled for now until a BIOS update can fix the problem. [ play3r.net] Hyper-threading Issue Found in Intel’s Skylake and Kaby Lake Processors

QUOTE(hujan86 @ Jul 1 2017, 15:38) Took the courier long enough to get it delivered. Too long in fact. I felt cheated. If shipping was going to take 2 weeks, they shouldn't have charged such a high premium. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Is it just me that has that impression or do you consider your feet to be really small? (nothing wrong with having small feet though)

Nope, that's my mom's feet. She's the one took the pic. The thing was supposed to arrive at my hometown long before the Hari Raya holidays.

I discovered MEmu and installed Black Survival for a test run, it runs surprisingly good.
Now i'm going to lose my life to playing Android games on my PC.

You really want to play nice and use Twitter's REST API through their official OAuth authentication process with all its pretty rate limits and yadda yadda, but then they decide to go full pants-on-head retarded and require clients to register their phone numbers before they can use the API. And so you end up accessing their API the good old fashioned way, by mimicking web browser requests and using CSRF-protected endpoints, because fuck you Twitter, I'm not registering my phone number to use a stupid REST API.
