What ever made that one online seller think that it's a good idea to sell a midrange graphic card like RX480 at the same price as the high end Geforce 1080?
The person I contacted via FB messenger stated 1 unit MSI RX480 TF OC 4GB (RM1199 incl. 6% Goods & Service Tax) is available at my hometown's outlet. The person manning the outlet claimed only the 8GB version (RM1465) is available. Contacted again the person on the official FB page and he confirmed the card I inquired is available after looking through the inventory list in their system. WTF is going on here?
I had a single window with a PNG file within it, the monster footprint was probably due to memory leaks slowly building up (I had the program open for a few hours)
Edit: nevermind the "slowly" part, it's back to 6GB with nothing open after just 2 hours

There's a split among consumers regarding 4k bluray vs 4k streaming. One side advocates streaming as future with convenience and increased internet speed/bandwidth made it possible cited as the reason, the other touted the unrivalled video quality gained from the optical disc format. Either way, looks like both are here to stay in the foreseeable future.
