No wonder I can't access the site anymore. Damn you, Obama!

[www.justice.gov] The US Government has arrested the owner of Kickass Torrents
QUOTE
The public is reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. If convicted, the Court must impose a reasonable sentence under federal statutes and the advisory United States Sentencing Guidelines.
You know,
there's a guy,
living in a warzone,
who has a website,
that probably, just probably, i'm not implying anything,
makes something that might be illegal,
so we will send interpol after him,
ask the police of another country to figure out when he is out of his country and under a jurisdiction that we control,
and then arrest him,
very, very, far from our territory
and then spend money on 100-200 lawyers to extradite him,
but yeah, he is innocent by default,
i said, i'm not implying anything,
he is very, very, very likely innocent,
we are doing all that, you know,
just in case.

I once explained to my project manager the benefits of cloud storage as a backup alternative because he mistook a mobile telco promotion as free internet data offer when it was actually offering free online storage. Look who's stupid now. Hundreds of gigabytes of personal and work files now lost after right after his external HDD experienced sudden failure.

"4GB is the same as 8GB." What a lame excuse for not selling 4GB variant of RX480. Just a ploy to make extra profits by exploiting customer's ignorance and lack of technical knowledge. Don't think I'm not aware of that piece of old news. I've read "some" of the cards can be flashed to 8GB, NOT "all". That issue applied to the reference cards. AMD and their AIB partners must've learned that mistake and rectified it by now. I am not paying extra RM100+ for more memory when I do not game at 4K resolution. The only reasonable explanation how spammers could afford to spam text messages promoting online gambling sites from different phone numbers on a daily basis is that each number/phone is infected with Android malware.

SMS is a clear text protocol, if you can get inside a single control station you can send it anywhere to any number you may want.

My parents want me to take a (supposedly) 0 euros/month mobile phone thing from my ISP, but I can't help thinking this kind of offer is weird (putting aside the obvious condition that if I change ISP, then the cost would change).
I wonder how much is paranoia and how much is proper intelligence/carefulness (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Why did Innacomm bother to provide a Parental Control setting for their modems when it doesn't do anything at all!? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

How many times must I explain this to these bandwidth hoggers? The office's internet only 1Mbps. Of course if everyone streams (YouTube, TV shows & anime) at the same time, the connection slows down to a crawl. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Come on, AMD! What is the point of hyping up a $200 RX480 4GB just for it to end up being vaporware!?

My 1070 is on 3.0 8x and there doesn't seem to be any bottleneck

3.0 8x puts the throughput at slightly lower than 2.0 x16. So, say if I upgrade to a midrange card like RX480, theoretically I will still not encounter any bottleneck on 2.0 x16. There's no need to hurry to upgrade my Sandy Bridge rig then, even if the upcoming Zen platform is successful in competing against Intel.

Just for shits and giggles, I made a customized version of rikaikun that instead of a normal JPN>ENG dictionary uses a dictionary of around 50,000 hentai artists to provide their romanization automatically
Works surprisingly well so far

That was some data scraping from somewhere at some point i believe.

Yet, good that you're around, you're just the right person for me to ask one thing. How the fuck I use [github.com] vim-skk? If there is someone that knows (and can explain things in english) it is probably you tiap hzqr.

(Yes, I have the SKK-JISYO.L dictionary on my machine)

Seems to be working fine here, what is the problem? I installed it with vim-plug and then set the path to SKK-JISYO.L:

CODE
call plug#begin()
[...]
Plug 'https://github.com/tyru/skk.vim'
call plug#end()
[...]
let skk_large_jisyo="/some/path/to/SKK-JISYO.L"

After that using Ctrl-J in insert mode would toggle hiragana writing.

I stopped at the hiragana part but if you want kanji completion there's [vi.stackexchange.com] this StackExchange post.

LOL, that's actually my post.

I only managed to make it work with set thesaurus, but that's kind of crap. I strongly believe there is a way of doing it without hacking a thesaurus in, I just can't read the documentation (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . The hiragana (and even katakana) works without setting let skk_large_jisyo="/some/path/to/SKK-JISYO.L", so that setting must have some other use. Yep, I'm just a clueless person that cannot read the jap docs.

I was just hopeful you use vim-skk and know it out of the bat.

Sorry, afraid I can't really help. The few times I have to write in Japanese I just use Google IME since it works virtually everywhere (Vim included) and has auto-completion/hints features.

I believe the let command is just used to overwrite the default value defined in skk.vim:

CODE
if !exists("skk_large_jisyo")
  let skk_large_jisyo = "/usr/local/share/skk/SKK-JISYO.L"
endif
