There are only two options for Windows 7 Firewall's action on outbound connections: Allow (default) and Block. Microsoft should have add a third option: Prompt User.

Windows doesn't like to prompt the user when stuff happens. UAC is an exception because it prevents the user from doing anything at all until they pick something, resulting in lulzy frustration.
See also : Windows 7 Stealth Updates.
Having to run stuff as the administrator when you already are sounds a bit silly. I'll never get used to that shit.

I hate how, even when you go into the program's settings to tell it to always run as Admin, it'll pop that prompt when you run it. Fuck you, Windows, I'm learning *nix.

The tab groups thing for FF6 is an interesting concept. And I'm almost certain it's for people that go to more than two websites frequently.

Filesonic and Fileserve are SHIT! Even downloading from Rapidshare and Megaupload without a premium account, are at least 10 times faster!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Tomorrow is Dump Your Keyboard Upside Down And Shake It All Around Day. You know, to get the crumbs out. Might want to wipe the DNA stains off it, too.

It seems like it's moving a bit slower than 4/5 was, for some reason. I'm pretty sure it's just perception at this point, since nothing else has changed about my computer except the Firefox version number.
Somewhat unrelated, but I haven't liked the look since 4. Why does everything try to get rid of drop down menus? And why the fuck are they still touting personae for 4+? It's not like you can see anything unless you use a rollback theme, or whatever.
All these attempts at streamlining the look of web browsers just confuses me.

Yeah, I didn't like that ff4+ look either. It's easy to configure it back to the original layout though. As for the speed, I haven't noticed any change. But I have hardware acceleration off, that might matter.

I rekajiggered that, myself. But it's still off. I don't know. Shit sucks.

Just a quick guide leaflet? Where is the manual for this 4-in-1 printer? Is Xerox trying to save costs by being stingy on manuals?

QUOTE(cmal @ Aug 22 2011, 02:41) Nobody includes manuals anymore. That's because 99% of people are lazy bums who can't get arsed to read readme files. Or maybe because even with a manual, some people will still call tech support and come up with retarded questions. [ www.rinkworks.com] Link related.

I like when the readme files are basically just PDF versions of the pamphlets.
