It appears that Win10 May update just broke the graphic drivers for laptops. Intel's driver application suddenly went missing & AMD's displays error upon launching. The result, I can't adjust the screen brightness with the keyboard, and MPC-HC is playing videos with 60-90% CPU usage because it is unable to utilize HW GPU decoding. At least, it's unlike last year's Win8 case in which my laptop can't boot into Windows due to a botched graphics driver update.

I need to replace that damn malware called AVG Antivirus by something else.
Those damn freezes due to unauthorized background install, usually followed by popup spam, is getting on my nerves.
They can thank the power of laziness for me not throwing their product away already.

You misunderstand.

Casuals are literally afraid of cracks and trainers, they simply do not understand that to crack something you need to use algorithms and heuristics like a virus does and that is why they are detected by antivirus.

The fact that people want to install a pirated AV but do not trust the crack that comes with it(if a proper release) is hilariously sad.


And there is nothing wrong with using pirated soft as a professional, as long as you don't install them on company computers then the company cannot be sued for lacking a license.

Besides, every company worth its salt has a shadow IT department, they are the ones you should befriend and not the official IT department.

They have much more nefarious programs & scripts and access to hardware without anyone knowing about it so warez doesn't even matter.

AMD Zen is said to compete favorably against Intel Skylake in terms of performance. When the news of Zen first came out, someone speculated "40%+ IPC than Excavator" equates it to a performance level comparable to Sandy/Ivy Bridge. For AMD and their enthusiasts' sake, the real word performance better match up to their words. Don't want another repeat of the fiasco caused by Bulldozer.
