QUOTE(tiap @ Mar 7 2015, 05:27) [ www.newsbtc.com] http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/06/utorrent...-bitcoin-miner/ I guess uTorrent is officially malware now Lol'd. Stopped using µTorrent when i upgraded and some files stopped completing due to some HD trashing bug, so basically it said 100% and then when i opened the file it was corrupted and rechecking the torrent just dropped a few % and redownloading didn't work.

I've experienced a BSOD while hibernating my laptop. Must be another botched Win7 patch.

Wish I knew how to pair my damn wireless wii censor bar to my pc so I could play dolphin... The wii mote works well when paired to my pc. Unfortunately it sucks because I can't play a lot of games since the censor bar wants to be a dick.

Windows' bootloaders and partitioning practices are arguably the most cancerous thing to ever come out of Microsoft

I have to deal with ASM code, and I'm extremely uncertain about what I'm doing.I hope it won't be too bad.

^ Bastard! I love to deal with ASM code. But every time I do some ASM, people tell me that it is not publishable and not "scientific" enough. (every coin has two sides (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) )

What are you doing to my precious push commands pingu?
Assembly is great, you can literally use it to kill other people's code.

i'm (trying to be) a CS researcher, but it is a field filled with sick statisticians (there's nothing wrong with statistics itself. But there is a big problem with people that believe that statistics is the most important field of science, especially when they evaluate papers). e.g. I worked with another guy on komogorov complexity (google it) over opcodes, it can detect (some) malware. Unfortunately no one wants to know the opcode patters, instead everyone wants the classifier accuracy.
I wanna learn malware patterns from this work, I do not fucking care about yet another classifier optimisation.
Overcrowding of statisticians can be a worse sickness than overcrowding of lawyers in some areas.

We really need some kind of technology to make people smarter because the amount of idiots in the world is just too damn high.

Get rid of all warning signs and natural selection will do its job.
