Why doesn't the Windows "search the internet for drivers" function work? Seriously, has anyone in the history of Windows ever actually been able to automatically download drivers through that? I wish Microsoft would improve it. I mean, all drivers are up for download on the hardware manufacturer's website. All we'd need is a reasonably regularly maintained directory that Microsoft could easily set up and so when Windows detects a certain piece of hardware it just gets that driver. Grumble grumble.

Dunno why it's not working, i've seen it run after torrent completes and nothing happens... If i use the script manually it does work. EDIT : Do i need wingrep if i have notepad++? This post has been edited by Pillowgirl: Jun 19 2014, 07:38

What is the script written in? Transmission may not have access to the right environmental variables, while you do.

You know, in decent torrent clients, like utorrent, you can just do that inside the program by enabling a setting.

That's only on the Stable and Beta channel, the Dev and Canary channel don't have that limitation

Thinking of using this: [ www.sharelatex.com] https://www.sharelatex.comFor something. Be it the beginning of a book, a design document for a game I will make, or just pretty much anything.

I was wondering how to properly archive my... archives, as it were. Also, my network-accessible porn might need a dedicated server. I'm sure I got some old parts laying around somewhere.
Yup, that's pretty much it.

Oh my. CSS flexboxes are pretty good. They almost make working with CSS bearable. Almost.

CODE 404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. It's getting worse. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I cannot stand the utter lack of a standard format for address books. Yes, there are formats out there (ldif, pine, mutt alias, elm, vcard) but all their bloody specifications are unclear. And thanks to that every email client or calendar organiser rolls their own format.
The only two ways I found to keep an address book that I do not need to retype into every client I use is to either, use pine mail format (which holds name, email and alias only), or to run an LDAP server on my machine. Most of the time I'm going for the second option, but running an openLDAP just to have an address book is freaking crazy.
When I get some time I'm writing a query able address book specification. Using JSON as a base format for one entity.
