Very fugly.
I thought glitter powder went out of fashion ages ago, but I've been wrong before.

Seems to be doing chkdsk.
On XP if it detects problem on your HDD OS prompts you when shutting down/rebooting that do you want to run it or not if not press something in 10 seconds, so could be that the user missed the message or the OS just thought to run it anyway.

Its the worlds most commonly installed browser. IE usage has crashed to 20% now... so I am not sure which year the article you are looking at is from. The number one browser is Chrome by a variety of statistics, Chrome has eaten IE and firefox's market share.

You know, I kind of like systemd.
It's a little feature creep-ish, but I can live with that

Disabled Intel SRT out of curiosity. Reboot. Can't boot into OS anymore as boot drive is no longer detected. Fug. Delete raid array on disk and reset disk cache. Boot into WIN PE and performed a system re-image. Waste of a few hours right there trying to figure it all out.

Try one of those USB live systems to detect the disk, maybe?

Yup, HHD corruption. The frequent backup prompts confirmed it.

What is up with Palemoon (Firefox) & Outlook.com (aka Hotmail)? Every time I want to attach a file, I keep getting popup saying "We're still getting set up. Please try again." I tried like a million times so in the end I have to get the job done with IE. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I had seen the claim it was the most used browser in an article discussing the Heartbleed issue, it was a mainstream news site so they may have been lazy in their research, we sadly live in the age of Copy & Paste journalism (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Nah, I mean I can't upload a picture to search or give it an image link anymore, only tag search.

Holy shit yes, i was wondering that a week ago when i couldn't find the camera icon.

Google changed the layout again, or maybe i just changed a setting somewhere...
Everything is different, and a month ago the font in wikipedia got thicker.
