Porn was probably the first form of art, given that prostitution was the first profession.
You'd be surprised. It is illegal in my country with all the agencies conducting frequent raids on DVD shops. Thank goodness the gov't haven't (& hopefully never) taken measures as drastic as censoring the internet.
Just the other day, an ad was aired on TV - "Porn & Uncensored Films are the Enemies of Virtue" (rough translation).
I hope OpenUserJS becomes operative soon so I can finally abandon userscripts.org On the bright side, install counts seem to be working again, so we've got that going on for us, which is nice.
The admin pretty much abandoned it or doesn't really care about it anymore, the forums are a godless spam-infested mess (seriously, go take a look), it's chock full of useless or just plain malicious scripts (the few scripts that do get reported are only removed after months, if they are removed at all), it's more offline* than online (503 Service Unavailable a-gogo) and the install count feature has been broken for years (though it seems to be working now, for whatever strange twist of fate)
* Even right now, as I'm writing; I've been trying to get a script for the past ~2 hours but I'm getting an endless barrage of 503 errors

All the "fake"/scam/malious scripts.
In that case, I hope OpenUserJS becomes operative soon too. Scripts like AdsFight! & Youtube Center needs a another host, not a dead one.
Will OpenUserJS have some kind of revision control system (git, bazaar, mercurial, whatev) to dump the scripts in? The lack of a CRVS is what annoyed me on userscripts.org
I don't even see a basic diff tool like the one USO had, I doubt they will add an actual RCS Most of the scripts on the site are probably going to be too simple for a full-blown RCS anyway
