This new fad of using mobile layouts every fucking where is [msnbc.com] really [techcrunch.com] rustling [thedailyshow.cc.com] my [gawker.com] jimmies.
I'm on a desktop, I have enough screen estate, why do I have to keep scrolling as if I'm on a mobile browser?
The bigass fonts really help get the point across, too!

Its just pure laziness to not have the site configured to have a both a normal and mobile version. They probably must get the majority of their traffic via mobile.

You think that's weird take a look at this old screenshot...

Apparently I had myself as a seeder at 100% but the file I was downloading was at 96%.

I once had this weird ass torrent, I think it was the Nine Inch Nails discography from thepiratebay, which kept downloading the entire thing, but didn't finish any of the pieces, and so at the last moment it ditched ALL the pieces and tried downloading them again from 0%. And this was an infinite loop.
I did notice that the pieces were unusually big, like roughly 1 per mp3 or something.
(oh and for the record, I used µtorrent)

HTC One M8 just came out.

This is what the new Start Menu may look like. It's still a prototype, but it'll definitely come to Windows 8.1 later as update. Previously it was thought the Start Menu will only make a comeback in Windows 9.

Update: Never mind, it's just a mockup. The real Start Menu will look differently from it.

I have no idea.
I've been having that torrent up for about... 2-4 months hoping someone would have the full piece... Apparently that someone was me.

I have completed torrents in my list that are 4 years old.

Actually it looks okay for me.

The problem with windows 8 is that it was designed for a touch-screen. If you don't have a touchscreen, some things are much harder to access. At least that was my view on it.

Protip: use Launchy
Once you configure it correctly and get accustomed to using it, it's a lot faster than the start menu/screen ever was
