QUOTE(DemonEyesBob @ Jun 22 2011, 23:08) God I hope you're not using Vista anymore, that was your problem (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Maybe if one was mentally retarded they'd actually believe what you wrote.

I remember when I first used Windows 7 and wondered why the usual key combination wouldn't bring up the task manager.
I thought my keyboard was broken.

I fear the day when you won't even be able to manually kill processes anymore.

Why would you think that's the direction we are heading? Things are becoming increasingly modularized or becoming part of a cloud system. Both of these lend to ease off turning things off on top of the increasing demand for personal customization and slightly more tech-savvy users.

Today My computer was using up 96% of its VM and I was trying to close firefox. It took an hour of ending the same processes that wouldn't close before everything was back to normal. I can see were Mika is coming from.

QUOTE(DemonEyesBob @ Jun 22 2011, 21:08) God I hope you're not using Vista anymore, that was your problem (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I knew what I was in for and it was all true. I can't believe someone created something so terrible. Anyway, it just took a bit of getting used to and knowing how to deal with it and I'm not really having any issues with it anymore. I remember reading this quote from Cmal and this is pretty much the case: QUOTE(cmal @ Apr 15 2011, 20:54) Vista's not too bad. It does some dumb shit from time to time, but it usually behaves once you tell it who's boss.
Microsoft dumbfucks. They should invent an OS called "XP Forever" and just stick with that. This post has been edited by Tenseigamoon: Jun 24 2011, 05:01

I got a program called File Organzier a few months back. Its a kick ass progra, but only last thirty days. Naturally, its run out by now, but since its so good I would like to use it again and uninstalled it with Revo Uninstaller so I could get 30 days back. I've done this six times and it still hasn't worked. Now all I want to do is get this damned thing of my laptop, including the registry. I can't find anything on this program other than the fact that the company's name is 'File Organizer Co.'
Have any of you ever heard of it?

I thought Windows 8 was a mobile OS. They can't seriously be trying to push that thing onto desktops, right?
