QUOTE(EsotericSatire @ Aug 7 2013, 03:40) My old HP laptop was like that because they stuck an i7 920 into a laptop but did not upgrade the cooling. I was stupid though, I was reading on forums a lot of other people complained and got an new laptop.
Exactly! Man I wish at times I didn't pick this macbook pro, but it's such a upgrade from windows to actually use Unix tools which are supported by the makers AND has a terminal emulator that doesn't suck balls and wants to live in the freaking 80's. Also it was surprisingly the cheapest for raw CPU/RAM power and it had the longest battery life (6 hours ftw). QUOTE(hujan86 @ Aug 8 2013, 03:00) You really wanna install more than 8 hard drives? What are you making? A server? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I current got 4 and still want more (mostly likely in the future where I can find a motherboard supporting 3x 570 GTX/some other monolith graphic card, while having 8-10 sata ports). It's always nice with more space for p0rn, anime, hentai and picture of anime girls. This post has been edited by GanGun : Aug 8 2013, 04:19

My current rig has five SATA drives plus an old IDE drive that I use to store my backup disk image and software for reinstalls.
Not including the three 4TB WD Black drives, my prospective build comes out to just over $1400 without price shopping for the absolute lowest/waiting for sales. Those easily can get to about half the price of the rest of the rig.

Hah, and they told me "no one will ever use more than 1TB!" Looks like they are wrong. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

[ www.theguardian.com] Ask.fm faces backlash from advertisers after teenager's suicide If there's anything worse than that online Bitcoin scammer who thinks his actions are morally justifiable, it's cyberbullies! Not only they did not feel remorse for the girl's death, they even target the deceased's sister now! If I had godly powers, I'll make all the cybercriminals' computer explode right in front of their faces.

I don't disagree with you on that. But those trolls should've left the deceased and the family alone afterward.

Censor the Internet down to the level of a kindergarten because somewhere a teenager might go online and get trolled. The various reichs could care less about bullying, especially since the targets are usually members of minorities, but anything they can fluff into an excuse to accelerate the conversion of the Internet into another overregulated and boring police state will be played for as much mileage as they can get out of it.

Or you can educate people. Educate people to lower the rates of bullying and educate people to deal with bullying. I'm big on education, not so big on censorship. Is it irony that my last speech to a secretary for education on the importance of education was censored? They seemed paranoid that I would say how bad certain American education policies at the time were. They also did not accept my offer to wear the American flag as a cape and go up and say how great the policies were either. Are you allowed to wear the American flag as a cape in America? They nearly banned it here in Australia, nearly caused a riot too lol.

Can we just say what we're thankful for? For instance, I'm very happy that eunuchs have their own operating system.

Awesome specs for a gaming rig & I don't need to say any further other than if you can afford it, go for it! (IMG:[ chauthanh.info] http://chauthanh.info/smilies/no1.gif) QUOTE(Muramasa777 @ Aug 12 2013, 04:59) And let people think for themselves? This is madness!
A necessary madness then. More cyberfapping, less cyberbullying. QUOTE(radixius @ Aug 12 2013, 06:00) Can we just say what we're thankful for? For instance, I'm very happy that eunuchs have their own operating system.

If its the non k i7 3770 then you can get far better value (if overclocking) out of it if you choose the mobo carefully. Currently there are a few mobo's that 'cheat' with the non k version and allow a fair bit of overclocking on all cores. They do this by having a mode that makes the single core turbo boost rate apply to all cores instead of just one. So you can get four cores running at 4.2-4.3ghz which is only 200mhz below what most people overclock their 3770k to but pay $50-100 more. About three months ago at least it was a fairly poorly documented feature though.

Asking every single staff to help forward your email won't help the slightest bit. What part of "Message size exceeds maximum permitted" don't you understand, Mr. Manager? Didn't I explain countless times that you should always resize the images before attaching it to your email?
