I don't like Xfce.

But it's better than the abomination that is GNOME Shell.

Played ZDoom for a few minutes. Converted a batch of 5000 pictures in JPEG. My computer definitely liked the second task more than the first.

Why is this stupid program using semicolons as separators in a CSV file?

It's normal for a laptop having a consume of energy of ~15W at max performance? Seems unreal.

Protip : When your computer makes unusual and really loud noises, check the task manager for processes that might be using up a whole CPU trying to get the "exit" part and kill them manually.

And your head for a brain, just in case. Mine's a miss, I fear.

My computer is working, my monitor is working, my keyboard is working, my mouse is working, my audiobar is working, my Photoshop is working and my printer is working! I'm all set with my new stuff.

I put my laptop back in the old original box it came in and shoved it under my couch. I'm going to take my old cruddy printer for a little ride.

Everything is working correctly ? You must be doing something wrong.

Reverse tech support. Call when everything is okay with your stuff, and hotline tells you what to do so that it breaks.

People who work tech support are so fucking stupid. I actually called a couple of times recently when I was having problems with Vista when I first started up this computer and once when my friend and I were helping my mom with her laptop. I knew more than they did and they couldn't help me with shit. That's scary.

If you ever need help, just post about it in Tech Chat. I've gotten the best help ever right here. Thank you, nerds. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Is anybody here exceptional with the command prompt? I'm experimenting with batch files and trying to use this script Flaser made to catalog all of my files.

Catalog how? I just use mass-renaming programs for the most part.

I tried that yesterday and failed miserably. Oddly enough I'm more adept in complicated processes than simple tasks such as that horrid program Winsom File Renamer.
If you want, I could give you the [www.fakku.net] thread.
