Once again working on AIX, the same questions as the previous time arises:

Why does vim must be so awful to configure? And why does emacs must be so painful to compile? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Because Vim was made so that only the few great ones would use it
and Emacs tried to simulate that but in the end only got masochistic programmers who didn't want change and prosperity to the world of UNIX.

That too. Who needs to pay to get rid of ads?

But personally downloading emails to my computer is a hassle to me. Due to limited bandwidth & hard drive space. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It seems to be a type of server for enterprise. Probably for backup purpose. Like backup confidential data from PCs in an internal network.

Firefox will soon begin blocking third-party advertising cookies by default, preventing ad networks from tracking users' browser activity.
The announcement did not sit well with advertising executives. Mike Zaneis, the Internet Advertising Bureau's senior vice president, tweeted that the new policy was "a nuclear first strike against the ad industry."

HP-UX on RISC architecture, one of the best possible UNIX servers available! (in the early 90s, of course)
Considering that you can live without bash, terminfo (not even a properly implemented termcap), X11 (or anything else related to a graphical screen), python (but it have perl! version 5.0 or earlier) and without a package manager whatsoever, it is the perfect server for your business.

Compilers for C and C++ sold separtely, java (IBM version only) can be acquired freely after filling the forms and posting them on snail mail. To get an apache server buy the C compiler and compile it yourself, couldn't be easier! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

OK, the CPU and OS is optimised together so it actually still runs a little faster than a Red Hat Linux on Intel, but for that price you buy 3 Linux boxes, cluster them together and get the double of speed.

When will Firefucks actually start working on fixing the trademark memory leak rather than stuff like this? Your activity can still be tracked, so I don't see the point.

They're probably going to implement some shit that makes an AdBlock extension loaded with every single regexp in existence feel like speedhack in comparison.

Or actually optimize their damn browser so I don't have to wait 4785847ms for a web page who doesn't only use HTML and do some innovating security feature for their browser.
