If reliability is the biggest concern either:
SCSI hdd
or a SSD hard drive made for enterprise.

That's one way to do it. Although, enterprise-grade SSD is expensive as hell.

Usually if the itch is persistent, sooner or later one will give in and comply (unless money is an issue). The HD8000 isn't coming out till the 4th quarter of 2013, so why not?

because i don't need it. The most stressful game i play is starcraft 2 on my 5850.. but.. i play 1680x1050 resolution and i already have everything maxed out......

It's just a name for the patent, apparently. Probably inspired by EyeToy.

It's difficult to notice the difference between The Itch for something you want and The Itch for something you need. It's common to want something (which can do far more than you need it to do) just 'cause some numbers say it's newer and/or more powerful.

that's the thing though. The current generation of vid cards has been out for a year now and i am NOW getting that itch? Just seems kinda weird lol. Ah well, i'm waiting until i can get a tahiti LE card for 250 all in b4 i jump on one.

I wish it were mid 2015 already so I could buy DDR4 RAM, motherboard with Intel Skylake Processor..

One would have to wonder why there was no Persona for PS3, or why there isn't one yet. Considering that Persona 4 was for PS2 there's a good chance hat Persona 5 will be for PS3, even with a PS4 on scene.
