So tired of new versions of software that DON'T FIX SHIT but add a bunch of annoying or useless features that slow it down.

FireFox, Skype, Yahoo, iOS, Windows, PSN Store, etc.

Fable? If it was memory problems I'd be having them in any OS, right? So why do I only have them in Windows? The sad thing is I already know why.

Redundant calls everywhere. That feeling when a script becomes 60% shorter and runs twice as fast.

Raspberry Pi seemed like a good idea at the time. Now what to do with it? Try to get HatH running on it? <ponders>

Patience often is the key when it comes to technology, regardless of the issue.

When it comes to hardware, if I need new shit, I wait until the very last moment so that I can get decent stuff at a dirt cheap price. Or the best stuff available at the moment that will most likely become obsolete within a few months unless we hit the tech level cap.

EDIT : Possibly a recurring thought, but who the fuck cares?

DNT+ is now rebranded as DoNotTrackMe. Its new Light theme looks like it was inspired by Windows 8 theme.

So apparently you need a Microsoft account to add a Gmail account to the Windows 8 Mail app.
Brilliant.
Back to Thunderbird.

Edit: I just noticed I've been using my Gmail account for more than 8 years now. Welp.

Not surprised (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Also, I restored Windows 7 because of the problems it was giving me. Restores, all cool. Then it updates after restoring... and fucked the MBR good. Guess what was there? That's right. GRUB.

Don't use system restore when your computer goes batshit crazy. If you want to go that way, first make sure your computer is clean and cut off your Internets just in case.

That I did, everything I did was offline and my computer was clean. Also I'm not the only one to have GRUB baleeted by Windows official updates apparently, I googled and talked with people irl about it and there were more cases.

Also, in any case, the errors/viruses would have stayed in that partition and would any affected the PBR, if anything, not the MBR.

I had a friend prepare me an Ubuntu Live USB and that fixed it.

Also @Hujan

Kill with fire might not be good enough this time. Kill with electric batons?
