Why Mint? I used to like Ubuntu, then I tried Debian.

Its not really an inside out cage. Basically, a Faraday cage is just a container made of a wire mesh fine enough to absorb certain wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum. Whether the source of the EMW is from inside or outside the box is irrelevant.
