Notepad++ only really disappoints me when I have to tell it the encoding is wrong and which one to use.

The ssh client included in the latest Cygwin update has the wondrous ability to shut down my router and with it the whole local network
So many trolling opportunities.

That horrible feeling when you realize Grub decided for no apparent reason to dick around with the MBR of the Windows partition

I know that feels man. Or at least when the MBR spontaneously combusts due to who-knows-what. Feels bad man.

That's weird, it's supposed to just be portable openssh I thought.

My old 802.11b router regularly gets overwhelmed by newer shit in the neighborhood, resulting in countless signal losses during peak hours.

Love it when this happens, I force a network reboot and Windows 7 tells me to plug an Ethernet cable in order to fix my wireless issues. Nice one.

Build a Faraday Cage around your domicile. Then NO wireless signals can get in.

Oh, you.

Buying a new router and setting up an actual Ethernet network might be slightly less expensive. Except for the fact that even this alternative would be far too expensive and I have to keep every farthing I can get my paws on. This is my Number One dime. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I just like being able to suggest the use of Faraday cages whenever the opportunity presents itself. They're so magical. That little metal grate in the window of your microwave oven is the only thing from letting those highly energetic electromagnetic waves from melt your face off when you peer into its orifice.
