I usually spend an entire day uninstalling their crap, installing my crap, updating crap, and making recovery disks and backups and crap.

The amount of people falling for that "Your computer is not safe. Run a free [insert random stuff] check now." crap is hilarious.

Anybody here ever used a netgeard WNDR3700 router? Small Net builder has good things to say, and the newegg and amazon reviews are positive, but I'm not for sure on it yet...
EDIT: Small net builder, newegg, and amazon had similar positive thing about my last router, a dlink dir-655 which tuned out to be complete shit, so back to meh on the new one.

Late 2011 a site appeared claiming to have tracked the sharing habits of more than 51 million BitTorrent users. The site, YouHaveDownloaded, went down a storm in the months that followed but is sadly no longer functional. However, what that Russian site did in the winter is now being matched by a Polish site this summer. So what did “you” download during the past few months? ScanEye believes it knows.

I liked [www.youhavedownloaded.com] http://www.youhavedownloaded.com/ when it was still up, since it showed people's nasty porn habits. Of course so we could point and laugh, or sometimes research about. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Both sites say/said they got nothing on me, ho hum.

I refrain from installing anything at all and use ready-to-run archived folders instead. When it is an option, that is.

I need to reformat my OS drive, but it's just so much work...

I'd like to outsource this task to someone else.

It takes 15 minutes at most to partition a drive if you already have a g-parteted live cd. If you don't, you can do other things while the image downloads, and burning would only add 5 minutes if that.
