Here's something I have found out. It made me change from tank gear to light, then to cloth armor.
I wish I'd known this sooner, and so I'm posting it so that others may start experimenting.

Priestess armor increases Curative proficiency, making all your healing stronger.
This is about using Regen as your combat healing.
The difference of wearing tank clothing to wearing cloth armor with Priestess suffix.

TURNS * HEAL AMOUNT = TOTAL HEAL
-----------------------------------------------
TANK ARMOR.......49 * 169 = 8281 (49 turns, 169 heal per turn, 8281 heal total)
PRIEST ARMOR....89 * 371 = 33019 (89 turns, 371 heal per turn, 33019 heal total)

What causes this ? It's interference, read about it here:
http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Interference

Interference above 25 reduces your healing power
Heavy armor has high interference and reduces your healing power
Cloth armor has no interference so it doesn't reduce your healing.
Cloth armor with Priestess suffix, increases your healing power above normal

To figure out how to spend your experience points, see here how they raise your shield rating and attack:
http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Character_Stats

Here you can read what all those words after your gear mean
http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Suffixes

For figuring out how much damage you're taking, how much criticals you're landing and your defensive statistics, You should get the STAT tool here:
https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showt...652&hl=STAT

You should stop reading here
While you're confusing yourself with Interference, here's something else that will stress you out.
Wearing Full Priestess armor, I take 209 damage on average (without shield, parry, evade)
If I replace my chestpiece with my cool superior dragonhide breastplate, I take 197 damage on average
That's 12 less damage per hit.
But the breastplate decreases my heal from 328 per turn to 303 per turn
So I take 12 less damage per hit but heal myself 25 points less per turn.
So no point wearing that light chestpiece right ?
But if there's 7 enemies, then the average damage reduction with light breastplate becomes 84 per turn.
With 7 enemies, having a light breastplate makes sense.

Switching my priestess chestpiece with light armor reduces heal as follows
36*328 => 34*303
That's not because of interference, it's because the light dragonhide breastplate doesn't increase healing profiency.
Figuring out which pieces of priestess armor to replace with light protective armor will keep you busy for some time.

Very cool info, any ideas about how a piece of thrice-blessed heaven-sent armor would effect the healing?

It's very possible to find, and afaik holy proficiency helps healing too.

If you'd like to experiment with it a bit I have a chest piece I can loan you:
http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=a91cf75385

Edit: Also, holy proficiency increases the duration of the regen, assuming you can hit 100 proficiency with it.

Edit2: I misread my armor, it was mitigation, not prof, but same question stands, just a different suffix on the armor.

Heaven-sent and thrice-blessed do not affect the power of cures or the power/duration of regen.

Holy rating increases the power of cure only.

I Had no idea that holy would increase healing.
Innate Arcana didn't affect healing at all, so I made a voodoo doll of Tenboro and pierced it.
I found this in FAQ

http://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_FAQ
Q: Does holy rating increase the amount that cure and regen heal?
A: Yes to cure, no to regen.

Since I only use Cure if something has gone wrong, I will not use holy armor.
Basically, when I have to resort to cure, I will be wasting mana potions to stay alive.

What's the difference between rating and proficiency?

Proficiency is inreased as you use it, it's shown in the character stats page.
Rating would be the total amount of proficiency, increased by auras and armor.
Rating = Your proficieny + added bonuses from various stuff

http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Character_Stats#Elemental_Rating

http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Proficiencies

Summary. Ratings can only be acquired via Auras and AP.

Proficiency is gained through spell usage and equipment.

Rating affects damage (and cure in the case of Holy) and mitigations while proficiency affects spell damage/power or duration in the case of Deprecating/Supportive/Curative (regen).

Equipping Heimdall armor wouldn't have any effect anyway.
