Hi, and welcome to SS's Bounty List! Here, is the stockpile of pretty much every bounty I currently have, as well as newly listed bounties, new releases and some background information. I'll be updating this periodically so don't worry if you missed it the first time in the galleries.

In case you're new to the forums, or have just never seen anything i've done, i've been doing edits for over a year now and have gotten alot of releases under my belt. As for any translation bounty I post, I only ever ask for the script. I also ask that my bounties be taken seriously and not be claimed by trolls, already completed doujins, bad engrish or overall shitty work.

I do work for other members and i'm usually open to helping random translators and editors. If you would like some help in any of your projects, feel free to PM me or make a post in my editing thread.

It probably won't matter, the translator might just do the whole thing anyway. But in case....
Note to potential translator: That bounty was made a while ago, please include those other pages.

I think I'll take your Luck & Pluck bounties, always liked that circle.
They're full of gigantic author rants, though, so I'll just accept the bounty for any when I actually start it.

That's good to hear(thought I was the only one that liked L&P). As for the author rants, they're completely optional (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Although some of us really like them and wouldn't mind chipping a few k more to see them translated (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Btw, SS, your Imasara 3 bounty is broken. Also, being a fan of Dirty Pair Imasara, I posted reviews of their works in the respective galleries, with special note as to what needs to be translated and what would be just duplicating existing translations (since most of DP I stuff was translated as part of their latter anthologies).

I hope somebody will get around to that Witchblade bounty...

'Nother script hot off the press.
Since I'll probably be at this for a while, let me know if there's any better set-up for these that will make them easier to use/read/etc for you. I skipped the maegaki and atogaki rants because they're mostly about being too poor to buy a ps2 (back when they came out) and uninteresting things (amongst hard-to-read writing >_>"). I did however translate one non-story page because it wasn't that difficult and was pretty funny.
I also decided to skip the majority of the SFX because 50% of them are breathing SFX, 30% are sex noises, 18% are body-moving/body-positioning noises, and 2% are actually pertinent (the one(s) actually in the script).
Let me know if the crazy japanese names and stuff get confusing because there are 2 or 3 lines that only make sense if you're into the backstory of DOA.

I'll be working on the Luck&Pluck bounties soon, but probably release them at the same time so I can dedicate part of a weekend to translate those walls of text (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Awesome. and don't worry too much about sfx. I have a guide on them if I ever feel the need to double my workload. The same goes for "Ah/Ha". I've seen the characters so many times I can recognize it's meaning instantly.

Here's my first draft for the 04U Touhou doujin.
Let me know if there are any parts that don't make any sense or anything like that, I'm not really familiar with the Touhou story, so I had to go with what I could scrape off of Wikipedia (because I didn't feel like spending 6 days reading the mountains of backstory and information on the "series" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif))

I'll claim the bounty once you get a revised (if necessary) version.

Ha! delightful.... I'm alittle backed up on edits(I should consider posting an edit bounty of my own) so I'll check it out tomorrow.

Looks like Cgrascal got to your Touhou doujin at the top. I was expecting that since he's done plenty of that artist's work. Are you still going to edit it?

Seems a different translation, so I'd expect SS to post his and Kage's version up, too. (Multiple translations are allowed)

I wouldn't mind seeing Kage's version just to compare it to Cgrascal's to see the differences. Considering it's a Cgrascal translation, I'm expecting awkward sounding lines and bad editing. So I and many others would certainly appreciate the alternative.

About Touhou's popularity, I admit that I've gotten in to it. But even so, I still wouldn't be able to tell you about how or why it's gotten so insanely popular because I don't understand it either lol. I guess its even weirder if you know the Touhou series is actually a bunch of curtain-fire/bullet hell games. But I guess doujin artists can't go wrong when 99% of the characters are female. In short, it's a mystery.

Anywho, i'll plow through this over the next day or two then try to finish up my other stuff.

Here you go, a (mostly) complete script for Carpjima.
After several hours of metaphorically tearing my eyes from my skull I got the author comments finished.
The other two L&P doujins' dialogue is finished (as indicated in my thread) but I'm gonna take it slow for their comment sections, and work on other, less ridiculous things in the meantime (like your Witchblade bounty and others). You don't seem to have any shortage of editing work right now, so I doubt you'll have any issues with this plan of action.
