I think others might have mentioned this already but H@Home doesn't utilize the full potential of my bandwidth despite setting it at max.
It won't due to any number of factors. I'm running a client on 100Mbit and it barely pushes 40Mbit, while I have 2 clients on a gigabit (yes you read that right, gigabit INTERNET connection) and it barely does 6-800Mbit.
Tenboro has a few of his own 100mbit clients that shoulder a good chunk of the H@H load and between him and I, we serv up a few million files a day so other clients don't often get to max-out their connections.
Having a large cache size helps, having a faster internet connection helps but like bit torrent, most of it is random.
