You underestimate how easy it is to play this game on "auto-pilot" once you reach a certain point. We've got hotkeys for pretty much everything, so all you have to do is press the same sequence over and over again.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm an engineer and I work from home. I'm one of those people who can get a lot done in a short amount of time (used to annoy the fuck out of my boss when I was working part-time as a student), so I set aside my mornings purely for work and my afternoons for working and/or whatever I want to do. If I want to play HV, I turn on my laptop and play there while I do other stuff on my desktop (or vice versa).

BTW, if you're caught using an automated system to play, and you will, hilarity will ensue.

Ever since I slowed down, I only play between 1500-2000 rounds a day, almost exclusively all IW. If I were actually focused on playing, I'd have broken level 350 months ago.

Lol and herev I thought I was going a bit overboard with HV, using all of my Great status stamina (after that I just quit and wait for it to go > 90 again).

well i just played daily arenas and not all so total its 300 round perhaps and nothing else , no iw no fest , in before i playing long time 180-190 round probably and again its just arena,(well before this patch i spend 45-50min with hv daily) now its need more time to new arrangements about strategy

I mean there is a very limited real world resource called time which isn't exactly limitless in terms of the lives we live.

Or is maging just that much more speedy in results?

Just doing all my arenas is ~1600 rounds. The time needed depends on if doing them on Hard, Hell or BT.

What about stamina. Do you have that many energy drinks?

I've got about 90 energy drinks and artifacts to get a lot more. But I don't use them that often, most of the time I do rounds with normal stamina (unless doing BT-IWBTH) I'll start to burn them if I ever want to start leveling fast again. But like most higher level players I don't play near as much as I use to.

If the rewards in this game are statistically slated toward that kind of time investment, count me out now.

(and anyone playing hentaiverse 8+ hours a day might want to re-evaluate what they do with their time IMHO)

There have been a few good posts about how fast you can play/clear rounds per hour. Besides being able to clear rounds fast it also helps to have a good ISP, browser, and even use a font that loads fast.

800-1000 rounds an hour use to be a good pace. I think conquest said he was doing 1000-1300 rounds an hr.

If you melee and so 500 rounds, how many turns is that each round? If you are doing to do 5000 rounds a day most of them would be 1 turn rounds.

For most weapons, 1-5 turns depending on enemy type, 2-3 if using bleeds. Do a x^1.5 multiplier for this for difficulty level.

dark/holy mage with no proficiency here, wasting 5 or more godly mana pots on one arena once they reach more than 40 rounds. But damn the speed compared to normal mace hitting is just silly. Shit that took 1 hour to melee now takes 20 minutes.

I recently switched to a mage too, a couple months ago.

The kill time is so much quicker, but I eat up the potions very quickly. Going holy/dark, and managed to get a couple pieces of Heimdall gear. Still at less than 80 in holy and dark proficenies. Once I got the Heimdall gear I was finally able to do Heroic level again, like I did as a melee.

THAT'S the hard part. Being able to afford the gear. I lucked out and got an average shoes, but had to buy the others. And still have more to get.

Just tried out Nerf with End of Days as per Ichy's advice and... as expected, I got bombarded with Spirit Attacks. Switched back to Silence after maybe 10 rounds of schoolgirls due to SP loss.

I'll acknowledge that they do die a lot faster, but not fast enough evidently, even with Spirit Mode on. Nerf would probably be more viable if I had Innate Arcana II and had both Spirit Shield and Shadow Veil up to maximize the chances of their Spirit Attacks missing.

Never occurred to me to do so, but going by Mana Potion usage from using only Silence, I would assume that this would be the case. Either that, or I'd barely have enough.

Alright, maybe I gave Iris Strike too little credit. But only for Ring of Blood. In regular battles, still not that great.

Also, it's been a while since I've asked, but how are my stats (just in case I need to say it again, I'm meleeing) and what should I raise next?

So I've been away for 8 days... I log on and my stamina has stayed the same -.-

I'd guess the lower level players are. They wouldn't have the stockpile of healing tokens to use after each battle they enter. And if they can't clear a lot of rounds while only using 13 potions it would be hard for them to build their own stockpile of potions.

I find it a knowing but oh well, too bad the price you get from selling them to shop hasn't changed.
