And we have a winner. However this only applies on high-end bleeding ethereal scythes. The worst ethereal scythe is after all, equivalent to the best ethereal longsword. Considering the costs of ethereal katanas and scythes, I would advise buying only the ethereal scythes with 28-30 base bleed, otherwise just stick with a longsword. Note that I'm talking about the only stat that matters, bleed. ADM doesn't mean jack shit and this is more pronounced now that OC doesn't boost damage anymore. There is Spirit Mode, but it's slower to continuously activate it than holding down the attack button and bleeding stuff into oblivion.

I'll have to refute that. As ludicrous as it may sound, I'm pretty piss poor for my level. Everything I have has been hard earned by me; I don't adopt slots nor has anyone given me freebies such as 500 hath, 10m credits, ridiculously high level monsters, etc. Also, it was just a suggestion, don't follow it if you don't wanna.

Now don't get me wrong: I'm by no means trying to ridiculed you or anyone of using their rightfully acquired wealth for their own benefit or to gain any kind of purposely-designed advantage over others. If you have money, you should be able to spent it.

But trying to put forward a point that since you and a few wealthy, bling-laden lv.300+ people find scythe to be the best and therefore everyone should use it is just unrealistic...

I using it too when I'm doing Heroic-something IW without great status (but I play arena almost always on great status) and I find it work great there. It does have its flaws though it's probably not a problem for you. But most melee are not like you nor anywhere near your lv, so...

BTW, I can still doing my usual HV routine just fine after this patch although it's slower and a lot more annoying to play... The reason I'm bitching about the OC change (which badly effect ALL decent-level melee) is because there aren't really a good reason why it should be nerfed... Stun weapon, specifically, got nerfed pretty badly as well, yet I have no problem with that at all. But why melee as a whole?

Stun probably got nerfed in order to balance out the melee weapons, but yeah, that doesn't attempt to explain the overall nerf to melee.

Also, sort of hoping the removal of arena healing is temporary to a patch or two. Whining or not, with this many arenas, there's bound to be a point where Healing Tokens are used so much that they're lower in number than the others. From what I interpret from the patch notes, Healing Tokens are also rarer now since all 3 types of tokens now have an equal chance of dropping, so that'll bring about that point even faster.

That then forces the use of more restoratives, which probably won't be issue in the long run.

i don't miss the removal of arena healing though I do would like an "auto use potions after exiting combat" quality-of-life option

So... just did dwd on BT. gah that took a long time. apparently... T removed the stamina regen altogether. got 0 stamina back upon completion. so heads up - i don't think stamina healing exists anymore other than via idle time/energy drinks.

and dovahkin seems strictly shittier than godslayer from what i can tell. will check to see if anyone else recorded what it does tmrw. but when i swapped from godslayer to dovahkin my damage + evade dropped

Do agitated monsters gain boosts to all their stats? I was just killed by an agitated monster that managed to hit me twice on the same turn.
