There should be an option for player-created monsters to fight each other, but have them fight monsters near their PL.

I met White Bunneh during hourly encounter. but the difficulty settings is battletoads.
Only managed to decrease his hp until half before received 1 hit KO special attack from him.

Wow, pretty good stats; beats my Kevlar breastplate I have laying around somewhere. Now to aim for that Legendary leather.

Given that it came from Shimmering Present I got about a week ago, I didn't expect anything less.

I was contemplating about what type of equip should I trade it for for a while. The smartest choice, it seems, would be a weapons, since the chance of it turn out to be a complete piece of shit is less, but then I thought "nowadays, it seem that no matter how good the stats is, if it's not eth, it might be kinda pointless.." And the weapons I already have are usable, so I ditch the idea. The other good idea would be Heavy, since normal plate, which most likely what I'll get, is actually usable, and not a complete junk like leather. But I don't think that I'll going to use it anyway, so its kinda pointless too. The other idea is trade it for mage gear and sell it, but I don't think that would work nowadays... So I ended up with Light armor as the last option.

My equips tell me to get cloth, but my instincts tell me to get staves. But cotton armor has close to zero value in terms of practical use.

It depend on your financial well being and current equips, I guess... But it's not hard to decide IMO.

Balanced choice = Trade the high value trophies for staves, the rest for cloths.
If you're poor = Trade all for staves.
If you are rich or already have a great staves = Trade all for cloths.

I would say Noodles for staves, and others for clothes.
Except if you really, really need a good staff and you've tons of legend trophies lying around.
And you should also wait until lv.265 for those noodles, as it's the level where some of the good staves will have 3 turns ET.

Reason?
For clothes you only care about a few stats, while for staves you'll need tons of different stats to be good.
It's a waste to use noodles on clothes. It won't be that much better even if it's a legendary phase robe.

I would say the same applies to melees, which means noodles for two-handed, and others for light/heavy.
Arguable, but some exquisite mace/scythe/katana can still sell for some credits, let alone the ethereal ones.
