I'm not surprised, that's pretty normal since it's actually better than 99% of staffs I've seen. Now I have a hard time deciding which one of these is better. Redwood vs. Katalox.

It'd be cool if you can reforge your weapon into a different type once the armory is here. Like Willow <==> Oak <==> Ebony <==> Redwood or something. It's highly unlikely that something like this would be implemented though.

If you use primarily holy or dark the katalox should give a higher damage output, the redwood wins for elemental/soul.

Unfortunately no Redwood can top my elemental damage. I agree that it's beastly for Soul. If only Soul wasn't nerfed so much...

The redwood also has forbidden prof. It's basically the ugly offspring between an ebony and a katalox just without the EDB bonuses.

i took that into consideration as well. but redwood base prof is so crappy it's essentially negligible. still, that int and mdm probably offsets the lack of prof and then some

I almost considered playing for a minute to check out the changes from the last few patches to the ponyverse, but after entering grindfest, my cast bar was empty, so I just gave up.

That only happened in the latest update, you can set up a different quick cast bar for each equipment set now. It's actually quite handy, but you have to use the few minutes it takes to arrange it or they'll indeed be empty.
