Why do the Dragons have powerlevels but Bosses, Legendaries and Gods don't? More importantly, why does Viserion have the same powerlevel as Rhaegal and Drogon? This post has been edited by (Cheater) Tiap: Oct 3 2011, 19:57

I currently have 90% hit chance, but earlier today I was in the middle of a Grindfest and I managed to stun two monsters with my Mace. I then proceeded to miss three or four attacks in a row, completely wasting the stun damage bonus (my Mace, by the way, has a roughly 12% accuracy bonus). Anybody else have similar bouts of bad luck?

QUOTE(Evil Scorpio @ Oct 3 2011, 18:58) (IMG:[ img714.imageshack.us] http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/6682/zecora.jpg) Finally, God damn it... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) I don't know which exact monster dropped it, I suppose I miss the drop during the fight. But I'm still happy. And as addition it's the one figurine I've wanted the most. Hell yeah! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I got a Spitfire today, it's been a while since I got a figurine. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) More importantly though, I also got 19 regular artifacts (a new record!) and none of them turned into useless AP!! Wonder if Tenboro fixed that or if it was just dumb luck. Somehow I still occasionally manage to miss 3 times in a row with over 97% acc, so yeah, it happens.

Someone correct my if I'm wrong, but I think monsters have a dodge/spell evade chance in addition to your wiff chance.

I don't think so, because of 3 reasons
1. Roughly, chance that you miss two times before hitting the monster in a single round should be about 0.03*0.03*0.97= 0.000873=0.0873% Seems to be a low figure, right? However, consider you're playing 500 rounds per day. Chance should become 0.0873%*500=43.65% So I would say it's bound to happen for anyone playing HV.
2. Of course, the chance becomes fairly low for missing 4-5 times in a row, but there are so many HV players that something like this is still bound to happen. Chance per day for a player to miss 5 times in a row among 1000 HV players is about 31%. That's still fairly high.
3. If there's such a spell evade chance, it should use either AGI or INT to determine its chance. I don't have any record for such events, but it doesn't seem that either avion or Celestial have noticeable difference in evading attacks. I will try to see if there's really such a difference.

Probability doesn't work like that. In 1000 hits, 970 will hit, 29.1 will miss once and hit the next time, 0.873 will miss twice and then hit and 0.02619 will miss 3 times in a row before hitting.

I think that's exactly what I mean. maybe I should state more clearly: if you play through 1000 hits, the it's expected that you will see 0.873 events of missing 2 times before getting a hit. Which means if you play through 1000 rounds, it's fairly certain that the stated event will occur at least 1 time. I should use 'expected value' instead of 'chance', sorry for my terms.

Unless it was re-added, that was removed a long, long time ago.

I hope Tenboro already put up or planned some countermeasurements. He stated lastly that he banned a Shop Botter. I Think he didn't really just check the logs himself but rather wrote a script for that purpose (damn scripter Tenboro (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ).
