I've been asking myself the same thing about lower quality unique trophies.

Thing is, even though the cap has been removed, a bad roll can still happen. And even if a good roll happens, you can still get the worst legendary ever.

Heh, didn't think it was possible anymore after the removal of ratings and changes to the damage formula. After some long hours of theorycrafting, failed attempts, and a newly refined strategy, I was able to do it again. Don't bother asking how I did it. I used the Super Secret Sushi Method™ or SSSM in short.

It's actually quite difficult to clear it on IWBTH now as a melee since there's no more lolpermastun. I'm glad it's gone though, I actually like the new challenge. In fact, I failed miserably yesterday in the earlier rounds before being able to clear it today. I'm not too happy that I had to spend my entire Labor Day weekend to devise this shit though. I'm probably going to be late for class tomorrow.

Some thoughts on it. The drop rate for the dragons needs a major revamp. It seems pretty ridiculous that the super customs of the final round of the final arena drops potions/crystals the majority of the time, or sometimes even nothing. The other final rounds have a guaranteed trophy drop and considering that the dragons don't have one, is it so much to ask to increase their equipment drop rate? I'm not asking for a 100% drop chance, but at least scale the drop rate according to difficulty similar to how crystals are being dropped. Which means the rate would be fairly low on normal and increases as you clear it on higher difficulties.

I think the problem is you think that's actually possible. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

And I've decided it's not worth the 8-10 hours of playing it would take to do Dragons on IWBTH, because you'll just end up with superior bucklers or some shit.
