QUOTE(rawrboy @ Aug 14 2011, 22:06) I still consider the 2H proficiency to be more useful to Niten then DW. Unless Dualwield does more for Niten that I don't know about, haven't really used it yet just read release notes for the most part. My assumption was it only affected offhand proc % and offhand damage. If my calculation is right I don't really mind missing out on about 3-5% offhand proc chance and +10% offhand damage?
This is completely wrong. As I said. Niten IS dualwield. And it gets ALL the bonuses from DW prof (Niten doesn't get the parry bonus to offhand like in DW, but that has nothing to do with DW prof. it's an innate bonus for DW only). It is the 2H prof that has less impact on Niten, since it only increase your Domino strike chance. (which you still want it to be as high as possible, anyway) EDIT:: Ninja'd This post has been edited by buktore: Aug 14 2011, 17:27

I gave up doing Niten several days ago and went back to mage. And guess what? I get drops all over the place. I get crystals, potions and some equipment here and there, I even got a few artifacts. I wasn't getting half that stuff when I was doing 2H or DW.
But then again, I have to ask myself if it has to do with using a lot of mana potions and buying them? A give and take type of thing? Maybe that activates Snowie and lights a fire under her ass.

Yeah I did some crunching. No wonder humans are so plentiful on the high lvl bestiary. Only takes 350k credits to pump a monster to 150 PL. Poor undeads don't have that same luxury since they have all those max resists. 1mil pumps a humanoid to ~230 PL (assuming bazaar prices) probably much cheaper if WTB e: course it depends how lenient you are with stats but deciding not to pump a stat or two jacks the price up by so much (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ie skimping out on int/wis makes labbies soooo expensive This post has been edited by dcherry: Aug 14 2011, 20:38

So when's the new update going to happen with all these free crystals I keep hearing about? We at least need new Crystalarium hath perks. And send Elia to the tower and Bunko to the dungeon while you're at it, too.

QUOTE(Ichy @ Aug 14 2011, 10:01) The change to Monster stats did this.
Hopefully Tenb will tweak this in the next patch.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jul 10 2011, 12:50) Among the biggest changes is that players and monsters now share a common stat system, which means that monsters now have all the stats players have.
Dunno what was changed but it made them a lot faster.

I don't notice a speed difference for other monsters, just humanoids. Not sure what the threshold is but Liselotte can already double hit me with 18 Agi. Unless players can somehow significantly increase their action speed there's probably no need to increase a monster's Agi more than that. Having 25 is just overkill when monsters like her can already deal double hits. I might start and make a humanoid now, they seem pretty deadly with their balanced stats.

What is your Action Speed? I never get Double hit by Eila or Lisi. I noticed it on all classes. before this patch I was able to cast 2 tier 1 spells against almost everyone except Lisi, Eila and Bird, Bird and the one I forgot. Now even slow ass monsters strike right back (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
