They are trade-able. The reason you don't see them in the Mooglemail item list on live is that the item filter wasn't updated for that item series.

The original plan was indeed to require one "rare" component per stat-up for those kinds of equips, but since that would discourage upgrading anything but the most important stats, it will probably require a few of them for the initial reforge instead.

Sadly, you aren't supposed to use leather on your Binding of the Priestess, but you can use your wood on it.

We can still kill them with Wind or Elec but are annoying thanks to their high HP.

Sprites are the worst custom monster, I think mine has negative kills (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
