I'm not claiming I'm relevant. I'm saying that the question of what the hell there is to do after a certain point is a universal issue people have with this game (and, essentially, all games). Acting like it is an issue known solely to a few is harboring delusions of grandeur.

No, he beat the RoB on BT back when everything was stupidly strong. Like thousands and thousands of turns of closing your eyes and holding down a button to kill the nearly invincible FSM. But so did I. He never beat any legendary arenas on BT, and he was banned from the forum and quit playing before IWBTH even existed. That's the big claim to fame he keeps crowing about.

I'd still like to see what would happen if Tens suddenly became insane from the crystal scent and decided to play nonstop. With the current XP bonuses from custom monsters and his crazy modifiers, he'd probably gain 50 levels in a week. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(Yes, this should be enough to scare him and keep him away from crystal shopping for a while.)

I did go insane from the crystal scent and was power leveling. I was gaining a level every day and it was driving me nuts. I was scared away from crystal shopping because I was going broke so I took a break and shook it off. It was taking over my life. I do that quite often, play a lot of HV and then put it down for a while. I don't know how people can sit there day after day after day and do nothing but play HV.

As far as crystal shopping goes, I did pretty well yesterday. I bought some crystals and then stopped when I thought I had spent enough. Played some arenas and then stopped when I got tired. There were even a lot of Mana Elixirs in the shop that I wanted to hoard but I refrained. It's a sheer test of willpower. I won't lie, it's a rush when you get enough crystals to upgrade an element or primary stat on your monster and make them stronger.
