Wath? Why? I can't do arenas on cake.

I wish DW would hit the mobs at once like mage and 2H instead of having to hit each monster individually.

Go Niten

I'm giving that a try. I've never fought that style before and was never even sure what it was until I checked the Wiki. It also says this:
QUOTE
However, unlike normal dual wielding, offhand damage is reduced by 75% (upgradable to 50% through proficiency) and the offhand does not gain a parry bonus. Additionally, no weapon proficiencies are gained when using this style.

Also, I switched to mage for a few arenas and I still wasn't getting a lot of drops. This is my third day of crystal sobriety and I've only bought a few mana potions but nothing overboard and no going wild in the shop. I've even reached my "do not fall below" credit amount and if I keep saving, I can save up a decent amount of credits to go on a [controlled] shopping spree soon.

I'm wondering if drops are affected by how you spend and use up items as you play? It seems like when I went on a spending binge and was using up mana potions playing as a mage, I was getting a lot of stuff. It was mostly crap stuff with crystals thrown in but I was getting a lot of it.

I gave up on trying to figure out the drop system a long time ago, I'm just gonna say a lot of it is based on luck if not all. Besides scavenger I don't believe theres anything I can do to increase my own drop rate, however you can increase the amount of chances you get at a drop by massacring monsters (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I typically do everything on Hell with my Niten set and do well enough to keep me happy and rapes everything cause of the super high bleeds. Lately I've been rocking the double new Ethereal Clubs I obtained recently to raise my DW prof and they work great against everything, except Giants. Their barrier ratings are just insane...

And by Barrier I mean shield.

Been wanting to try Niten for awhile myself, however I haven't been able to find a good Katana and I have no idea what I'm suppose to get on the Wakizashis.

Speaking of those annoying giants:

QUOTE
Bunko uses Negative Karma

Fucker got me. I think that was the first time, too. I was watching TV and going fast with my Niten set and it sat on me and I was defeated. (IMG:[lulzimg.com] http://lulzimg.com/i24/d2c722.gif)

Elia and Bunko are the two most irritating monsters out there. But yeah, the Niten style is fun regardless of what dummy doo-doo monster tries to slow you down.

Main thing on the Katana is you want a base bleed and proc chance above 20 and a good duration too, probably around 4-5 turns are your level. I prefer Balance Katana due to higher critical chances.

As for the Wakizashi, it depends on what you are holding it in your hand for. I think its there to increase your survival so the main stat on it I look for for is Parry, then proc chance and duration. I'd avoid slaughter just because only half of the ADM is added to your attack when its in your off-hand.

Its hard to find an awesome specimen of either one because of how rare they are and people tend to horde them. I have 3 Katana and 4 Wakizashi that I am sitting on because I am too lazy to get an auction set up for them...

My Niten pair is Slaughter all the way. Fuck Bleed, things die in one hit or before they can even get Bleed to tick. Also, like over 600 ADM with Power Armor.

I hope the fixed LotD is really good since I've got it maxed. I might start playing daily BT legendaries. ~3 hours of play for DwD, and the single legendary rounds are very fast.

Today is not a good day for me, I think... I did first 17 arenas already without equipment drop. I suppose Snowflake having a PMS of something... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I'm usually not dressed as Iron Man when I Niten; still using my old hybrid set. I have tried it against Yuki, though, and she fell down pretty quickly.

ADM, Proc Chance, Duration and Bleed damage needs to be a lot higher. Won't be trying out Niten until I find a Katana that gives me reason to (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) cause leveling up dual wielding is going to be a pain.
As for Wakizashi, haven't decided if I wanted ADM, ACB or Parry.

I'm going to assume hybrid works better at higher levels? I've tried it like 3 times and all 3 times they were bad experiences. So I just stick with full heavy =/ Interference starting to become an issue though =/.

Why don't you try to use Kevlar? It has decent protection without too much Interference and Burden.

Cause Kevlar of Slaughter doesn't exist (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif). Trying to find a good Power Helmet/Armor, hasn't been going to well =/. I'm pretty much sticking with Heavy Armor.
