The infusions didn't serve any particular purpose. I was simply testing some things, you will notice a bug if you look at it more carefully.

As for why the top-level mobs don't have a larger chance of dropping good gear, it's because certain values in the quality formula end up capping, especially on higher difficulties. That's also fixed in the next patch.

Status bar shows him with buffs from both Infusion of Frost/Divinity. Though I honestly dont know how it decides what damage it does when you have multiple infusions on.

I think the last used infusion deals active damage. Except for Gaia, which I suppose have higher priority of something... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

If you wanted a Magnificent, then maybe you should have stuck with BT. It's 3 times faster with the lowered HP and stats, yet has the same loot bonus. I'm really the only other person that has a good idea of how long it took. With that number of turns on the last round, it's pretty easy to infer how long each of the single, double, and triple legendary rounds took as well. And that is a fuckload more supportive than you need IMO. Cold damage for Drogon? Why?

I'm tempted to try this again with the legendary staff instead of what ever POS oak heimdall I used before, for comparisons. I wish I had it maxed though... Maybe I'll do BT instead.

Unless you have a bunch of Tenbora's Boxes and Shimmering Presents lying around, I don't see how trophies will be any different.

The last cast infusion deals the damage from what I've seen, though I've never tried to cast multiple infusions with Gaia.

He also has an Infusion of Flames cast for no apparent reason. Maybe to try exploding damage? It would do fire damage when exploded with cold, but the damage would be so low from their high resistance that it would be a waste of time. A better question is, did he try casting cold spells to proc Frozen Limbs and then explode it with wind? But I've already tested all this with Holy/Dark. Sticking with your stacked spell still goes faster than trying to get exploding damage.

Whats the best way to check someone's level ?
When people send me messages, I want to see what level they are.

Like I said, don't read too much into it. I was just testing infusions, wasn't really using them to speed the battle up and the last one I used was a divine infusion which was supposed to overwrite all existing ones. As was shown from the SS, this did not happen.

But I would lose out on the delicious EXP and I was also secretly hoping that he lied when he said loot quality bonus was the same for IWBTH and BT. He did lie. Loot quality bonus on IWBTH is more akin to the bonus on normal.

Nope. I did it legit, with an average oak heimdall staff even. It's practically cheating. If you want an idea, I killed IWBTH Mikuru in RoB in 46 turns a couple of weeks ago, using only great status and an infusion. It's still 64 levels from being capped.

I've been using an Estoc for the past few days and I've noticed I haven't been getting a lot of items dropped during my arena battles. Is it just bad luck? I don't see how it could be. I get a lot of drops when I'm playing as a mage and decent drops as a DW, but the two-handed thing is being much different. Does it have to do with proficiencies?

I has not seen any differences between using weapons, as to drops.
Except that playing in IWBTH instead of HARD, really, REALLY makes a playa poor.

Preferably undead so it can't receive the death penalty.

I've been playing on different settings and I can go round after round without one single thing dropping. And my stamina is nice and high right now, too. It all started when I began using the Estoc. I like using it but where are the drops?
