Bringing your Undeads Holy Res to 75 could be a little costly (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) This post has been edited by Ichy: Aug 2 2011, 11:02

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Aug 2 2011, 16:57) Then again, I think the limit for elemental increases was removed (except for max 75), soo, that one could potentially be staggering.
Hm....let's see how many crystals we need to make a holy-resistant undead... That would be 10*round(1.25^150) = 3.44*10^15 Hm....Do we need Crystarium C or D to get there? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) No, what I should be asking is: Can the system record that amount of crystals without going insane!? That'd still take quite a while, even with Beyond Crystarium Legend 8001. Unless at some point, the perks actually start decreasing the exponential part of the crystal cost curve instead of increasing your drops. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) QUOTE(varst @ Aug 2 2011, 11:03) Can the system record that amount of crystals without going insane!? QUOTE(sushi0 @ Aug 1 2011, 22:00) I'm pretty sure before we even get anywhere close, we would already have 256-bit computers or better so that limit is pretty moot. (Unrelated topic, but it still fits.) This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: Aug 2 2011, 11:13

QUOTE(varst @ Aug 2 2011, 11:03) No, what I should be asking is: Can the system record that amount of crystals without going insane!? Not really. Item counts are all stored as 32-bit integers. But I kinda doubt it will be a limiting factor.

Hentai-verse, now with sanity limit (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) When I studied physics and astronomy in college, I never imagined I would face that kinda insane numbers. Again. This post has been edited by varst: Aug 2 2011, 11:29

You could still break it if you wanted to. But not within a human lifetime, so you'd have to breed for that purpose. QUOTE The Official HV Chat thread, Because your life really is that empty And hope Tenboro doesn't change the data type right before you break it. Wasted half an hour for nothing. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Oh well.

I'm getting extra credits but now I'm doing extra spending. Oh gawd, the shop was too tempting. I shopped til I dropped and watched my credit amount drop, too. I was like, "Look at all the shiny crystals." "Screw it, just buy them ALL!" "I'll worry about it tomorrow." "It's not even real money." "You'll get your dawn event credits in a few hours." "Go for it." "Don't even freak." "You know there's more in the shop, go back and check." (IMG:[ lulzimg.com] http://lulzimg.com/i24/9a3942.gif)

Listen to these words; do you or someone you know sound like this? Friends don't let friends get addicted to crystals. Seek help. This Public Service Announcement has been brought to you by the E-Hentai Anti-Monster League.

Damn, there's quite a few people developing Frith's Syndrome™ in the wake of his absence and the lowering of crystal training/bazaar prices.
