What the hell happened to hath prices?

Last time I bought hath it was ~2000c per, now I'm seeing people paying 7k. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I think it's several reasons. One being the new hath perks that everyone wants, two being the devalue of credits thanks to increase of arena clear bonuses. And maaaybe three being less people are currently selling hath on a regular basis.

Hath prices should continue to rise for a bit imo. When it eventually does reach a peak and come back down (who knows when), I don't expect it to return to anywhere near what it used to be.

Another reason:
I like to download galleries, they cost 5x as GP, and hath has being sold for almost 10x GP.
So what I would do if I didn't had any GP? I would buy hath with credits and resell it for GP.

People poorer than me have to run out of money some time. Which is just about everyone. The "free money" mode is pretty much gone now, so maybe it'll come down.

I would buy hath with credits and resell it for GP.

That's a pretty easy way to make a profit if you have all the credit perks. I actually thought of this back when I got Golden Handshake, but I know people would get pissy about it, so I've refrained from doing it.

Hath hasn't always cost 7k each either. I don't think it was more than 2.5k each when I finished the credit perks, and it's not like I bought a lot of them to begin with. Daily H@H, dawn hath, and artifact hath adds up if you do it all the time.

I guess that's true. I'm still a tad skeptical about the credit -> hath -> GP -> credit though. ROI doesn't seem that great

blah, my credit gain rate isn't keeping up with hath inflation. I haven't spent any credits in forever, and I think I can afford less hath hath before I started saving.

Tenb should remove all mob credit drops so you only get credits from clears and selling items, maybe that would make credits worth something again.

I'm just training a lot since training costs do not get affected by the economy. And also praying a lot for some special circumstances that somehow lower the hath prices by a lot (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Maybe some rich guys donate to the site at the same time, or Tenboro's next patch...

I think it just economic 101; demand for Hath is higher due to new demands from new player, and combined with lower Hath supply due to the change to artifact reward, Hath price rise as a result.

Its probably both. More people want hath. More people have the money to spend on hath. There's less hath to go around. More people can spend more money on hath.

But yeah, the inflation of hath prices is getting pretty ridiculous. It was ~6k just at the beginning of this week.

cmal's pretty much got it right. By devalue, I mean more and more lower level players have access to credits -> there's a bigger pool of players who's willing to compete and outbid each other for the auction wars over hath. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Just to make a point, I used to do all my arenas daily plus some grindfests and itemworld before this patch, now I only do arenas and I still make more credits than before. And if I have so many easily accessble credits everyday, I'll be looking for ways to spend it, though I'm waving the white flag early on this one and just catching up on my trainings. The sad thing is, I'd make more money in the long run if I just went ahead and swallowed these ridiculous hath prices and get my crystal perks asap.


This is actually quite ingenious of Tenboro, because these changes have given a lot more economic power to people who donate, while players who depend on HV grinding for wealth have to work harder to stay competitive.

Meh... It seems I forget the fact that most of the wealth I got (the 2 hath perk I have, some gears) were actually bought by using other people money, not my own. So I don't really feels that credits worth less than before; I never had much credits in the first place! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Im not sure if I should make her a Legendary. You Eila is much stronger so Lisi should become a Boss and Eila a Legendary.
