My theory about Fleet items is that it added up to 1.75 base evade to the gears.

Since the maximum base evade I found for pants seem to be 4.5, 6.25 base evade seem to be the maximum for pants.

But my theory doesn't seem to add up when it's come to shoes.. I believed I saw silk shoe with base evade of 3 or higher before, and the gossamer one with base of 3.25 do exist, but I never saw fleet shoes that have higher base evade than 4.25 (I have one with 4.25) If my theory is correct, it SHOULD have higher, but so far I have seen none.

EDIT: Heh.. so Lord_Obagon did sold those [hv.e-hentai.org] 6.75 robe and this [hv.e-hentai.org] pre-nerfed phase to Conquest101 ... I should have contacted him a long time ago.. How much did you paid for it BTW ?

How much +miss chance does 1 point of supportive proficiency give? Anyone have the exact number? I can almost see myself using high evade earth-walker gear for that purpose, at least in regards to shoes. It'd be a minor difference at best, but whatever.

Only they'll have incredible base evade and just need to be leveled? Yeah, that sounds about right. As for Chaos Tokens, I've decided they must be worthless POS since I've already gotten a lot of them. I've never gotten anything of value on a consistent basis other than staffs, and that's long gone now.

I've taken issue with this for a long, long time. My solution was a nerfing of base values along with an increase in scaling.

I get the at a rate a little below my rate of Tokens of Blood, so, if it is equal to that, it is mildly useful.

Meh I remembered it as 600k for some reason. Also, 90% of my interest was in the pants so my exact offer was 400k for the pants/100k for the robe. In case you're curious.

The problem is, you can easily say that in hindsight, but for example, with Karagme's auction, it's not like you immediately offered 1 million credits for his cap, despite being willing to pay that much (I assume).

I offered 5 times what you initially bid on the cap (once again going off of memory). If Lord_Obagon had made a counter-offer I would have raised my offer, but things are what they are.

Also, this is why I had no particular desire to post about this.

1) I didn't have a million credits when the auction started. I think I had 400k. I did end with 1.3 million.
2) As it was a public auction, the market would determine the price.

2) The market being the 2 of us basically. Take me out of the equation and you most likely would also have gotten that cap for a "ridiculously unfairly low value".
And I doubt many people beyond us stupid high levels with tons of credits to throw around would consider hundreds of thousands of credits to be ridiculously low in the first place.
