I just like to level up slowly now. Leveling doesn't make me stronger, since my equipment's level will lag behind.
And it's not so difficult to level up.

I wonder why you say that, for me it is since I don't play high difficulties, but considering someone said he was doing +50k per each drink, a 2.5x stamina drain rate increase shouldn't prevent that someone to continue making credits.
Btw did anyone tried GF with great status yet? It would be ironic if it had the same drain rate.

They have the same drain rate (0.05 per round) when I tried GF 1-2 days ago for testing.

I probably could have grinded 50k before the patch, if I played all 1000 rounds in grindfest.
The figure should be around 30k now, considering I can play less rounds in great status.

Might as well start rounding the EXP to prevent it from going out of the box someday.
Oh, and make sure to round it down so that people can bitch about the potential waste of one experience point.

Guess that means rare mats can drop from any PL.

Some items don't have quality and are simply rare. Similar to the way in which elixirs drop now, in that it has nothing to do with your loot bonus (or the in the case of your monster, PL).

25 minutes to MM the shit out of Mikuru on IWBTH with my usual ssakcik gear, and it only had 440k HP. I don't feel like trying on the rest yet.

That's what I plan to do, except they won't be giants. If everyone does creates giants, they'll obviously get nerfed.

Hm....Good guess. I think so after reviewing all the materials we have seen.
Here's my guess.

Binding gives an equipment's suffix.

Cloth -> cotton and gossamer
Leather -> leather + dragon-hide
Metal -> one-handed, two-handed weapons, plate (with shield?)
Wood -> Staff
Shade Fragment -> Shade
Kelvar piece -> Kelvar
Shielding rune -> Shield armor (with shield?)
Repurposed Actuator -> power armor
Phazon -> Phase

We only have grade for cloth, leather, metal and wood, which probably mean these things determine your weapon/armor's grade.
You will need to add those bindings for the weapon/armor's suffix. Judging from their price, you may need to add a few of them to get a good status.
Those special materials may be added to make the respective rare armor. For example, leather + shade = shade armor.
